It has now been two days since my sister Nancy ventured into the back yard and she still hasn’t returned.
At one time I thought I heard a faint cry for help, “Hep me! Hep me!” I have heard nothing since.
My concern for her safety makes me reckless, ready to dash out into the jungle my back yard has become in search of her. Good thing my son Cole is here. “Mom, don’t go out there. Don’t you watch the movies?” And my mother, full of wisdom, “Laura, think of your son.”
My mind is going crazy imaging how she will survive.
And what about shelter? Will she be able to find a safe place to hide until she is rescued?
She will have to navigate through the predators to get to the watering hole- my pool, and not all of them are big.
Well, not compared to the raptors anyway.
With my son and mother urging me not to go in search of my sister, I am left with only one choice.
Scary Sherry!

Since you are Nancy’s savior, how would you like to be portrayed? A ninja warrior perhaps. Female Indiana Jones? How about a sexy fantasy warrior? Stay tuned.
I was shaking from under my netting. Of course, that only keeps out the small ones. 🙂
Yeah. I don’t think the netting will work for these skeeters!
Lawn maintainance…*shudder*…I’d rather have the velociraptors.
