Some chit chat.
This week was a big pain. Well, acutually it was a tooth ache. Who would believe something as small as a tooth could cause such pain.
I could feel it coming, the dull ache, the slight swelling. By the time I got to the dentist it was full blown pain. He couldn’t save my tooth, as the infection spread through the root into the bone. So now I’m minus a tooth and you’d expect, minus the pain.
Not so. The left side of my face is still swollen, I am still in pain and will be until the antibiotics knock out the infection. I do get brief pain free moments. thanks to a powerful pain med. I take advantage of those, catching up on my blog, and actually swimming in the pool.
The pain has lessened now. I feel I’m on the downward side of the infection. I can’t wait!!!
Enough about that. Let’s get to the good stuff. Books!

Lots of nice looking new books! I couldn’t resist The Library, lol…so I downloaded it–thanks for featuring it.

I grabbed The Library and a couple of others by the author!
I had a crown removed and the tooth prepped which hurt, and hurt my nose and sinus for a couple days from the novicaine . Nothing like the pain you had though. Good thing you didn’t neglect it. Smart Mouth Waitress is an appealing cover!
I ended up with a dry socket. Talk about pain! I’m just now pain free for the first time in almost a week. Don’t know how long that will last when the pain meds wear off. I loved that title and had to grab it too.
A tooth can definitely cause a ridiculous amount of pain! Glad you got it treated and the infection is getting better. As usual you’ve got a fantastic group of books! Have a great week!
I actually had to go back to the dentist Monday and Tuesday. Finally starting to get some relief.
I hope you feel better! Just watching that gif made my teeth hurt (I hate going to the dentist lol). I hope you enjoy all your new books and have a great week!
I’ve never minded going to the dentist until now. This was the worst ever and still not done. I’m even having trouble reading and not doing much this week besides getting through work each day. I’ll be back at it though:)
Lots of excellent books there! Toothache is a major nightmare especially in my case when it led to root canal treatment!

I think tooth pain is one of the worst there is. Glad you’re feeling better! Nice stack of books- I particularly like the look of In The Drink and death Pays a Visit. Those look fun.

I’m slowly getting better. Had a flare up or two but think the worst is passed. I can’t wait to feel good enough to dive into these goodies!

Sorry about the tooth ache, Laura! That’s such a pain, and having to deal with the pain of the infection even after the tooth was out must have been frustrating.
You got some great looking books this week… I’m doing my best to steer clear of freebies, I have so many books on my kindle already :O

Yeah, this is something I hope I’ll never have to go through again. The infection got into my jaw bone! Getting better now:)

Oh I hate tooth pains..hate dentist too…lol. Great bunch of books you have and of course I grabbed some…I am so glad to see Dino lake as a freebie been wanting to try that since you reviewed it. I turned around and got the audio for $1.99..lol I am an audio nut. 🙂

The pain is finally letting up some. I’m hoping it’s over soon. Worst experience with a tooth ever! And I have a high tolerance for pain. I did natural child birth and I think it was easier!

It’s the worst pain I’ve ever had from a visit to the dentist. So glad it’s getting a bit better.

I had to go back to the dentist twice and I think it’s finally subsiding today. Now to read some of these new books!
Oh a sore tooth or an ear infection I’ve learned are about the worst pain you can get hit with. It’s amazing that something so small can hurt so bad – glad to hear you’re on the way out of the infection! Too bad the tooth had to go – but better it be gone than you keep suffering! Hope you have a pain free week!
Funny you mentioned the ear. The pain went to my ear and the back of my neck. I hope I never experience that again. LOL I don’t miss that tooth anymore either.
I hope you are getting better! I have had my wisdom teeth removed in the chair… not fun! You have lots of reads to help you feel better though!

It seems like I’m finally in less pain. They say it could be several more days though. Yikes! I so want to start reading my new books too!
Tooth pain is the worst, my sympathies. I only made it to about 40% on Awake, and hope you connect with it better, Hope this week is pain free!

A tooth ache is nothing to mess with. I am glad you got to the dentist quickly and that you are on the mend. Looks like you have got plenty of books to read while you recooperate.

The reading was a bit tough as the pain meds made me keep falling asleep. LOL Floating in the pool was relaxing too. And it seems the pain is finally letting up:)
Tooth plain is awful! Hope the infection clears up quickly. I’ve been seeing Awake all over, looks good.
I’ve never had pain like this from a tooth. So glad it’s finally easing a little. I’ve been hearing some not so good things about Awake. I hope it’s one I’ll like though:)

The beginning of the week was two more trips to the dentist but I think we finally have a handle on it. Now I can do some reading, I hope:)
