Some chit chat.

As much as I try to wish it not so, fall is approaching. The good thing about it is, Halloween is coming too!

This will be my third year joining a huge blogger giveaway, The Spooktacular Giveaway Hop 2015.

A ton of us bloggers sign up to giveaway fabulous prizes, from books to movies to swag to gift cards!

If you care to join, click on the banner below!

I need some help with this. Each year, I usually give away a print set of books and I’m looking for some series suggestions.

Tell me some good ones. I’d like to make the prize special and want to offer something popular. It can be any genre as long as there are two or three books in the series.

Let me know what you’d love to win!

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday posts so be sure to leave me your link!

  1. You killed it with the book winning this week! I’ve heard that The Coincidence of Coconut Cake is really good and am looking forward to reading it (and having coconut cake) but the others are new to me. I’ll have to find out more about them. Good luck with finding a series for a giveaway. I can’t think of anything appropriately spooky but I’m sure you’ll find something great. Have a great week!

I know. I was so lucky! Coconut Cake is sitting on my night stand, calling my name. LOL I’m still stumped on a series. May do something different.

  2. I’ve read The Seven Steps to Closure (and Family Magic) and it was such a good book!

  3. OMG! I can’t even begin to suggest a series to give away, there are so many!! Maybe start with what genre you want give away and then go from there. PNR? UF?Horror? YA or adult? I rarely do print copies b/c of the shear amount of entries that giveaway has. Plus I like offering the INT option 🙂 I think this will be my third year, too (or fourth, even).

    Good luck picking 😀

  4. I don’t have air conditioning in my apartment so you can bet I’m ready for fall weather! But snow is a different story… I’m never ready for snow!
    Have a great week!
Thanks for stopping by the The Local Muse

  5. Man, you found some great freebies this week I think I almost grabbed them all, you are not helping my habit…lol. 🙂

I signed up for the Spooktacular giveaway, thanks for the reminder! I can’t believe it will be Halloween soon. Prizes can be hard to choose from but I always like ebooks or e-gift cards, this makes it easier to keep it open internationally.

You have another great haul this week! I loved The Coincidence of Coconut Cake so I hope you enjoy it.

    Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ll be reading Coconut Cake soon. It keeps calling to me. LOL Yeah, you signed up too! I’ll figure something out before I post. LOL

  7. Oh I love fall so I am pumped!! Halloween is fun too! Awesome on all the books won – The Coincident of the Coconut Cake is one I really want to read! Hope you enjoy them all and have a great week!

  8. Kathryn says:

Wow you do a great giveaway for the Spooktacular giveaway. Like a few others here I want to read The Coincidence of Coconut Cake too! Nice win.

  9. The Coincidence of Coconut Cake was so wonderful. You have a great haul and so many of the titles scream Fall read to me..I love darker titles, thrillers and mysteries. Enjoy your week my friend!

    • fuonlyknew says:

That cake is haunting my dreams. I’ll have to cave and read it soon. Especially now that you mentioned how good it is! I love this time of year. Thrillers and dark stories are my favorites. Then it’s time for those cozies for the cooler weather.

  10. Some favorite series are: Charly Davidson, Kate Daniels, Cat and Bones. I am looking forward to The Blind! Have a great week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks! I’ll check those out. The Blind is waiting for me. On the top of my want to read now stack by my bed. LOL

  11. fangswandsfairy(alt) says:

Lots of books! Thanks for the heads up on the hop. I usually do one for Halloween so maybe I will do this one. I think any series from Molly Harper would be popular.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ll check out Molly’s books. Thanks. This hop is huge and I’ve met some awesome bloggers and discovered new books and authors. My favorite hop!

  12. Oh, you got The Blind! I’m jealous as Forever turned me down even though I gave good reviews to the first two. 🙁

Blood in the Paint and ColdHearted look good.

    Happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I was shocked when I got The Blind. It looks even more fantastic in print and I’m anxious to get started on it. Blood in the Paint is a thriller that will make your hairs stand up and Coldhearted is fun and dark. Loved the first book too!

  13. Yvonne says:

I’m doing the Spooktacular Giveaway too. I did it last year and it’s fun. I’ll probably be giving away some cozies.

I always love looking at the covers on your blog. All the books look so good. Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Cozies! Now that’s an idea. I’m addicted to them and get a lot of visitors when I showcase them. Thanks for the idea:) I might also try for some new releases from favorite horror authors too. Aah!!! I’ll figure it out. LOL

  14. Cait @ Paper Fury says:

Ahhh!! I want to read The Coincident of Coconut Cake so so bad! Mostly because it’s about cake…OKAY. All because it’s about cake. 😉 I hope all your books are good! And yay you get Fall and I get summer! :DD

  15. buffywnabe says:

Looks like you got some great books! I’m working on the review book thing as well. Good luck this week!
    Check out my Sunday Post

  16. Lola says:

Wow awesome haul you got this week, so many good looking books. I like the sound of that Coconut Cake book!

I don’t read a lot of horror books, so I can’t give you a lot of recommendations for the giveaway. Some of Kelley Armstrong her books can be considered horror. I love her books.

I hope you’ll have a great week! And happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ll check out Kelley’s books. They don’t have to be horror. Can be a fall or Halloween theme or pretty much anything. I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

  17. Good luck getting caught up with your review requests. I know that can take awhile sometimes! The Coincidence of Coconut Cake looks interesting, Laura!

  18. Heidi says:

I can’t believe Halloween is coming upon us. Yikes. I really liked Coincidence of Cocunut Cake it was like You Got Mail. Enjoy.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I know. Time to get out the decorations soon! I love Halloween! Coconut Cake is going to be such fun. So glad to hear you enjoyed it:)

  19. Deborah says:

I haven’t read any Scarpetta novels for a while… must check out your review.

Some nice new arrivals there as well!

  20. Looks like you have some good titles lined up for you! I’m still not ready to let go of the heat quite yet, it might be too hot most of the time…but I loathe rain and cool weather. I basically freeze to death for 4 months every year, lol.

    I hope you’re having a good week!
