Some chit chat.

I meant to share photos from my trip last week, but there are over 600 to sort through so I’m planning on doing a special post just for that.

I’ve also been very bust this week. Back to work and it seems so hard that first week after a vacation.

Plus my mother’s stay is winding down and I’m trying to spend every minute I can just enjoying her company.

I did do some reading and posted some reviews. I also have some great giveaways going on and more free books.

Happy Sunday!

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday posts so be sure to leave me your link!

Wow you sure made a lot of pictures during your trip! I think a seperate posts for that works better indeed! I am looking forward to see your pictures! I can imagine how being back to work after a vacation is hard the first wweek, i hope you get back into the routine soon again! I also grabbed my copy of Run this week, I am looking forward to reading it! Those cozies you’ll be reviewing next week look good!

    • fuonlyknew says:

LOL I’m still sifting through the pictures. Might take some time to put a post together! I have a bunch of cozies I’ve been reading. Looking for some holiday ones and found some good ones.

  2. You’ve got some great cozies coming up! 600 pictures is an impressive number! I can see why you haven’t had time to get through them all. Enjoy the rest of your visit with your mother and have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep. I love my cozies. Still looking for a few more Christmas ones now. Time goes so fast when my mother comes to visit. I’m relishing every minute we have together:)

  3. You got an interesting list. Several that I have read or want to read. Beverly Allen’s book is a must read.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I like to mix it up and keep my interest piqued:) I’m reviewing Floral Depravity tomorrow. It was a fun one.

  4. You have interesting list. Some I have read others I to do. Beverly Allen’s new book is a must read. I enjoyed the other two very much.

  5. Alright Leech made me shiver. What a haul! Get those pictures sorted my friend! Hop the week is good one.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I couldn’t resist Leech when the author contacted me. That cover alone hooked me. LOL Still sorting pictures…….

  6. Greg says:

The first week after vacation is always hard.

    Have a great week.

  7. Leech looks like it’ll be creepy. 🙂 I may have grabbed a few of those freebies, too. *cough*

    • fuonlyknew says:

I couldn’t resist the cover or the blurb for Leech. Fits into my horror challenge and Halloween list too. I found some good freebies. Trying to offer up some holiday reads too.

  8. I also got to enjoy some time with my mother this week! The days we return to work following a vacation are always the hardest. Can’t we just go back on vacation? That’d be great! 🙂

  9. It’s always good to enjoy your mothers company, I really miss my mom some times and can’t believe it’s been 15 years since she passed on.

You got some great books and the cover of Leech really looks creepy weird…lol. I checked out some of those freebies as always!! 🙂

    Stormi

    • fuonlyknew says:

So sorry about your mom, Stormi. I can’t imagine life without my mother. We are best friends and talk every day. Found some good freebies this week. And yes, Leech is scary good!

  10. I can’t wait to see your pictures but I have no clue how you’re going to weed down the photos to include… 600?!?!?

I’ve seen Run before and I meant to get it before but I never did – I’ll have to see what you think 😉 Perfect for October, huh?

    • fuonlyknew says:

I have a feeling it might take time to put a post together what with sorting all of those pictures. LOL
Run is good so far and fits into a couple of my reading challenges.

  11. katarguelles says:

I always take a lot of pictures during a trip and it is a lot of work to sort them out. Especially deleting all the blurry pictures lol. And I hate going back to work after a vacation. It’s hard to get back to your normal routine. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s taking time to sort the pictures. Especially since I’m back to work. I am reading some good books. Just wish my vacation had been longer. Like, another week so I could sit around at home and read. LOL

  12. Your trip sounds interesting. Have fun sorting through the pictures. Nice selection of books to read for review. I am going to check out your freebies next. Have a great week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ve been having fun looking at the pictures. Some I forgot I took. LOL
Lots of different genres to read. And I enjoy hunting down good freebies

  13. Leech looks CREEPY! I am going to read A Very Coco Christmas for Kimba’s Ho-Ho-Ho Challenge. Have a wonderful week. 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

Leech is as creepy as it looks! I had to grab those holiday cozies. The covers are just too fun and the stories sound fun too. Perfect for my holiday reading list too.

  14. You got a big awesome stack! I grew up loving Wallace and Gromit so I’ve been curious about Shaun the Sheep. Thanks for stopping by!

  15. Yvonne says:

You have some great cozies on your list too! Enjoy them and have a great week!

  16. tonyalee says:

I love the cover for the hanging tree — so I will be looking for that review this week 🙂

  17. Heidi says:

Shaun the Sheep was lots of fun, my kids and I enjoyed it. I hope you give Ellie Jordan Ghost Trapper a try, it is a fantastic series. Enjoy the rest of the time you have with mom.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ve yet to see Shaun but looking forward to it. I love kids movies. I’ve read four of the Ellie Jordan books. Will be reviewing them throughout this month and just got the fifth book too. I too love the series!

  18. Emma says:

I had a look at the blurb for Get Real on Amazon – sounds fun. I’ll be keeping an eye out for your review. Happy Reading.

  19. Melissa (My World...in words and pages) says:

Oh wow. Lots of great new books for the shelves. 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

  20. Naomi Hop says:

Wow! Awesome Haul! Get Real looks like a funny read. Love the swag!
Enjoy the last few days with your mother!

    Naomi @ Naomi’s Reading Palace

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks Naomi:) I really enjoyed Tellulah’s other books so I had to try Get Real. How can I resist that cover too. LOL

  21. Laura, you got some truly amazing-looking books last week! They all look good, I wouldn’t even know where to start 😉
I’m glad your vacation was nice, even if it’s hard to be back at work. And I would spend as much time as I could with my mom, too, I totally understand.
Have a fantastic rest of the week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

With all of the wonderful books I have, I’m trying not to grab from that list of freebies. I failed! Too many good ones this week. LOL
My family is planning one more fun trip together before my mother goes home and then she and I are planning to sneak away, just the two of us, to a bed & breakfast for a couple of days. I get teary eyed thinking about her going back home.

  22. Thanks for stopping by my SP & STS earlier this week. Wow you had quite a haul this week. Sad thing is that I’m not familiar with any of the books that you got. I hope you enjoy them though!

  23. shannonmiz says:

I, um, just spent about 5 minutes feeding fish on the side of your page. Bwhahah. Anyway. I will try to move on 😉

The sheep swag is adorable hahha. And the Adventures Around the Globe book looks fabulous! I added it to my kids’ wishlists, but… I really want them for myself 😉 And 600+ pictures sounds incredible, can’t wait to see them!!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had the fish before and they disappeared. I finally added them back. I purposely put them at the bottom because I also get caught up in feeding them. LOL
I’ve been trying to win the Sheep swag for a long time. I forgot to include the sheep decoration because it’s already hanging up! LOL Still sorting…..
