Some chit chat.
So, here we are again! Another Sunday. I don’t know about you, but for me, the days are flying by. I think part of it is because it gets dark so early now, around 5:30 here. I’m still not used to it and so not liking it.
One thing about it that I do like is when Christmas rolls around. I love to drive around, looking at all of the fun lights and decorations. It really gets me in the mood. How about you? Do you go for drives to look at lights, or at least go out of your normal driving routine to catch some?
Got lots of bookish stuff to share today, and some fun freebies for ya. Tried to find some to go with the holidays. Grab em!

Can’t wait to read A Frozen Heart. And such fun prizes. I’ve already worn the tank top! The pillow is so soft and also got a zippered pouch and note book.
I won this watercolor painting of a chicken. Caroline even signed it! I love chickens and have the perfect frame to show this off.
Both of these are going to be such fun!

I’m getting my decorating done this week. A few neighbors have got their lights up. Goind to have fun taking pictures to share.
I’m like you with Daylight Savings Time. Consider yourself lucky at 5:30. It gets dark in my area at 4:30, ugh.
Oh wow. That’s tough! I feel like hibernating until spring. LOL
I hate how early it gets dark now. Grrrr! I love looking at Christmas lights. They look even better in the snow, but we don’t get very much of that here in NC. And they’re so depressing in the rain. 🙁 Congrats on all your cool wins! 🙂
That’s the one good thing about it getting dark so early. The drive home from work is very bright! We don’t get snow here either.
I like to look at the lights too, one of my favorite parts of the holidays. the neighbor behind us already has their lights up- we’re not that early. 🙂 I’m not a fan of the early evenings though either.
Thaw looks fun.
A few of my neighbors have their lights up too. It’ll start getting colorful everywhere soon. It’s so hard to stay awake. 6 P.M. feels like 10 P.M. LOL
I’ve had Thaw for a while. It’ll be one to read while hibernating this winter.
Oh, you got some great books!!! And darn you with all those freebies I think I picked up about five or six of them…lol.

Gotcha! LOL I had fun browsing for some different genres and holiday reads:)
I hate daylight savings and it gets dark here around 5 pm. I do love the Christmas lights and we like to drive around to see everyone’s displays. You got some great books and prizes. I grabbed some of the cozy mysteries. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
I’m excited to see the lights too. We have a few neighbors that really do it grand! I love cozies too. Hard not to grab all of them. LOL Have a lovely Thanksgiving also:)

It is always fun to look at Christmas lights – some people get really crazy about it. Believe me, I know all about time flying by. My girl is already a month old.
The ones that crazy are especially fun! There are a couple I make a point to go see every year. I can’t believe it’s been a month already. Getting any sleep yet? LOL
The cover for The Dead Circle looks spooky. Days are flying by here too…scarily so.
I just did my review. It’s a tense read and makes you stop and think.
