Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!
She’s Here!!!!! My Mom has finally arrived. We have so many fun things planned for this summer and I can’t wait to get started!
Now for what I’ve been up to all week. Work was quiet. The bosses went out of town and I got a long weekend. Worked on my blog to get ahead on some posts. Read a whole bunch of books and now working on reviews. And I watched a lot of movies and shows too.
I watched the finale of Survivor. Kind of surprised over who they chose to win. Watched Avenger’s: Age Of Ultron. Fantastic movie! At first the Captain America movies were my favorite. Now I’m torn between both of these. And I’ve been watching a lot of Big Bang Theory reruns. I never get tired of them and still laugh even though I’ve seen them so many times.
And I’ve been doing some swimming. The water is lovely and I had some sunny days to enjoy it. My mother feels the water is still a bit too cool for her but my son got in and we had a great time. I did a big no no and fell asleep floating on a raft and got some sunburn. Not too bad though and now I’ll make sure to put on the sunscreen.

I grew up in Panama City. You’d better beware of falling asleep on a float in the Gulf of Mexico. Lots of Bull Sharks lurking around just waiting for a dangling arm or leg. Seriously!

I know. I was out past the second sandbar off Pensacola Beach and saw dolphins swimming between me and shore. That was a long swim back in! I don’t swim in the Gulf anymore. Too many jellyfish and I have a healthy fear of sharks. I’ve seen some monsters while fishing!
Enjoy the pool time! I did more watching this week than reading, but still managed to get through a book or two. Amazingly enough… I just saw the new Captain America this week and loved it.
I love my pool! I did a lot of watching too. So many series are wrapping up and new ones starting.
Eek sorry to hear you got a bit sunburnt Laura, but it sounds lovely to fall asleep floating about!

The fun has begun and will continue for many months. LOL I’ve written several reviews and now I’m ahead.

I’m very envious that you are actually able to swim outside – the weather has become colder again, so we are now back to switching the fire on at night and I’ve even had the heating on a couple of days when it rained incessantly and was chilly and dank. The week before my mother came down they had snow in Michigan! Boy, am I grateful to live on the Gulf Coast! The sunburn wasn’t bad and I’ll be more careful now.
I can’t wait for Pool time, floating on a raft always puts me to sleep so I have to be careful. You got an awesome amount of books! I hope you enjoy them all!

Love the Marvel movies! I haven’t seen the new Captain America yet, but hope to soon. I use to think that nothing could top Iron Man, but after the last Avengers movie I’m not so sure anymore 😉 Enjoy time with your mama. I’m at home spending time with my parents now too. It’s always a lot of fun!

The Fireman was something different from what I was expecting, in a good way!
The Big Bang Theory never gets old. I love watching that show and all the re-runs. Hope you have fun with your mom. I’m behind on my superhero movies. I’ve watched all of Thor’s all the X-Men the fist Captain America and I think that’s it. I need to watch all the others oh and the Batman movies. ^_^

The sunburn is all better and we have all kinds of fun plans to fill every weekend! I plan to take a few days off of work here and there to do some long weekend trips:)
