Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB at Books And A Beat.
My Teaser for this week is from
Bayou Shadow Hunter
A Bayou Magic Novel
by Debbie Herbert
Genre:
My teaser from page 100 in the paperback.
Graceful as a woodland sprite, she walked across the field, her brown wavy hair tossing in the breeze. She seemed to draw energy to her, as if the natural world became more animated in her presence. A dark angel, a whimsical witch who heard music where others experienced only silence.

Read on if you want to know more.
Synopsis
HOT, SULTRY, DEADLY… THESE ARE THE SECRETS THAT LURK IN THE BAYOU.
Bent on revenge, Native American Shadow Hunter Tombi Silver could turn to only one woman, the “witch” Annie Matthews, for help. Her ability to hear auras had allowed her to discover Tombi’s friend mystically trapped by forces that could destroy them all. The accompanying message of a traitor in their midst meant Tombi could trust no one. Dare he bring Annie along on his quest to fight shadow spirits? Putting his faith in someone outside his tribe, especially one who pulled at his tightly controlled desires, could prove just as dangerous as his mission…

It’s been a long time for me too, Stormi. This is a fun one.
This sounds like a fun and interesting read for summer! I hope that you enjoy it. 🙂
It is a good one for a summer read:) Going quickly so far.

Lyrical. Good description:)
Sounds interesting. I saw the word “Sprite” and it took me right back to prep school to the time when I was a Browning and I was a Sprite. Here’s mine Teaser Tuesday| August 23, 2016 – http://wp.me/p7KAUt-2D
That sure takes me back too:)
I love bayou settings…so lush and dreamy. Thanks for sharing. Here’s mine: “THE BOOK THAT MATTERS MOST”
They are romantic settings. Also a bit eerie:)
Love the way it sounds. I’d keep reading. Curious about her now. My Teaser is from an urban fantasy arc – Unraveled by Jennifer Estep.
I’m enjoying the characters and the setting:)
That title captured me and I had to check it out for that reason along. LOL

Had a feeling it would grab your attention. LOL
Bayou settings make me thing of voodoo and witches and other mysterious things. Sounds like this book doesn’t disappoint!
My Tuesday post features LATE FALL.
Makes me think that too. Had to find out and so far, it’s going good.
Looks steamy, if I am to judge by the cover!

Probably not because of the humidity either. LOL
It’s been ages since I last read an Harlequin. I used to love the Blaze line.
I used to read them too. Fun to be back into them:)
Indians and witches. Sounds like an interesting blend.
It sure does:)
Loved the snippet you shared with us – what a beautiful image it has left in my mind.
I had a funny one chosen but then I came across this one. I had to share it.
I love this teaser! It’s so beautiful and I can just see her right now!
I know. It’s so visual:)
Interesting – is it more fantasy or romance? Seems both aspects are present.
So far, it’s more about the fantasy. I don’t know if that will change. Probably somewhat towards the romance as they get together.
Wow… what an observation, sometimes I’d like to draw energy from my surroundings!
Sounds ethereal but dangerous! Great teaser! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
