It’s Sunday again! I can never get over how quickly a week flies by.

I didn’t have much exciting happen this week. But I sure have been stocking up on scary reads and movies. My Netflix Que and On Demand list is brimming with creepy good movies. And my kindle and bedside table are stocked with plenty of scary reads to give me nightmares.

I’m gearing up for the return of my favorite show, THE WALKING DEAD! Are you ready?

I came across this fun video to tickle your funny bone.

I was busy over on Amazon hunting down some freebies for ya’ll. I got a bunch and I bet there’s some for everyone. Make sure you check them out further down in my post!

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday Posts so be sure to leave me your link.

So, what did you get to read this week?

Got any recommendations?

I’d love to know and thanks so much for visiting fuonlyknew.

Comments
  1. I am loving all the creeptastic books in your haul. We have been watching the Exorcist on tv and I am enjoying it. I plan to watch a few classic horror flicks and recently listened to Stephen King for thrills and chills. Have a spooky week!

  2. I’m not a scary movie fan, I get scared too easily. That’s probably why I don’t read much horror either, but I’m able to handle scary better when it’s in book form lol. Enjoy all your creepy movies and books though! And have a great week 🙂

  3. Greg Hill says:

Yeah the weeks do fly by- seems like I finish a Sunday Post and before I know it I’m writing another one! lol

    The Mixtape Manifesto looks fun.

That video is awesome. And I’m SO ready for TWD to come back- although all this negan stuff is kinda irritating me. What if they kill someone I like?? 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

Why did that have to pick such a great actor to play Negan! LOL I’m so afraid to learn who he killed at the end of last season. What if it’s Daryl?????

  4. Deborah says:

I’m seeing a bit of a common theme with Halloween approaching for the US. I’m glad you’re excited about it and getting into the mood!

  5. I’ve been watching a lot of political news, which is super scary. 😀 Yeah, I’m looking forward to TWD too, even though I’m still miffed about the season finale.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yeah, politics is horrifying! What a scary year. I have a feeling the first new episode of TWD will kill me!

  6. Not much happened to me this week either, well classes but and work but other than that it was pretty boring. 🙂 You got me with a couple of those freebies but some I already had…hehe. 🙂

  7. I’ve been busy’ seeing mom’s at your house. I limited myself to one of your freebies. Can you guess which one? 🙂

  8. I can’t get over how quickly a week goes by either! It’s nuts. I want it to slow down!! I need to catch up on Walking Dead. I’m about 3 seasons behind….I’m thinking a Netflix binge may be in my future. Hope you enjoy all your new reads! Happy reading 😀

  9. sjhigbee says:

There’s a real book haul there… I tend to avoid the scary stuff as I’m prone to nightmares. Unfair looks good, though. Yes – I’m with you, the year is zipping past FAR too quickly! Have a great week. This is my Sunday Post https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/10/09/sunday-post-9th-october/

    • fuonlyknew says:

I can’t tear myself away from scary reads. Stayed up way too late last night finishing another one. LOL It sure is flying by. I’m gathering Christmas reads and movies and already thinking about what I want to do next year.

  10. Yay for scary books and movies! I can’t wait to see all the creepy reviews that are sure to follow! As always, thank you for all the free links! 😀 Have a great week!

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

  11. I’m not a big fan of The Walking Dead but my husband is and he’s counting down the days! Love the Toy Story comparison! I’m ready for some creepy movies too! I’ve been reading some Christmas books for review deadlines so a good scary movie would get me back into a Halloween-y kind of mood! Have a great week!

  12. I haven’t even watched anything on Netflix all week. Never even turned it on when I got home. This week I’ll join you in catching up!

  13. I can’t read or watch anything scary! I’m a wimp! Hopefully you will enjoy them all!

  14. Lola says:

I’ve picked up a few cozies mostly, as I don’t like the real scary reads. I also got one Christmas read already. Those two cozies you reviewed this week both look good, will have to check out your reviews for them. I hope you’ll enjoy your scary reads and movies!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I do love cozies, Lola! You’ll find so many reviewed on my blog. I think I’m addicted to them. LOL I’ve read a couple Christmas books already too. One was even a scary one. LOL

  15. I’m still watching last season’s TWD. LOL. Yes, I’m slow. I try not to read any spoilers but it’s hard. Have a great week! ~Aleen

  16. limabean74 says:

You have so many awesome creepy reads. I hope you enjoy them all. For some reason I have been dying to read creepy books but some how find myself wanted to read christmas books instead. I am trying very hard to hold off until November but it’s so hard! lol

Have a great week, Laura! Happy Reading!

  17. katarguelles says:

You have another nice book haul for this week. I grabbed some of the cozy mysteries. I’m too chicken to read the scary books lol. Thanks for sharing these deals and have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I managed to resist grabbing a lot of these freebies. I have so many books already, but I did grab one or two:)

  18. Naomi Hop says:

Quiet weeks are good sometimes! Helps to catch up in other ways!
Lots of good reads you’ve picked up there, love it when you go Freebie shopping!

  19. I will be looking for your review of poop! I have a digi-pet Pou that is supposed to be a poop (I think) and my sister thinks it is hilarious. She keeps buying me these poop emoji things. So far I have a keychain, a fridge magnet, a patch to sew on something, and a pencil sharpener. Ha ha. Have fun watching your scary movies and a wonderful week. 🙂

  20. I want to watch some scary movies these days, too. I have to troll Netflix to find something 🙂
You always find a lot of interesting looking freebies, thanks for sharing, Laura!
Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

  21. Melissa (My World...in words and pages) says:

lol. That video is totally cool! We are looking forward to the starts of Walking Dead here too. Though… I’m almost scared to watch the first episode. To find out who… but with my luck, they’ll probably start the season with Morgan in another place and not give us our answer. lol.

    Have a great week!

  22. buffywnabe says:

Amazon freebies totally kill me, or should I say overload my Kindle app? 🙂 Looks like a bunch of great books for you this weekend, and a lot of posts this past week. Thanks so much for stopping by Lisa Loves Literature earlier!
