My Review

This makes me wish my son was little again so we could have read this together.

A dog dreams of being a squirrel and racing along the Squirrel Superhighway with his bushy tailed friends. But dogs can’t climb trees and squirrels don’t speak dog.

The next time your dog jumps at a tree and barks and barks at the squirrels, you’ll be wondering what he’s saying.

It’s a fun story about being happy with who you are and what you have.  And there are some lovely illustrations to make you and your young ones smile.

  1. This sounds like a cute kids read, love the illustrations.

I love all of the fun illustrations too. Every time my dog starts barking like crazy, I’ll think of this story:)

  2. The artwork is really nice and the dog looks adorable. Cassius always watches squirrels but I don’t think he wants to be one – he just wants to catch one!

I think that my dog, Quigley, is the same. He once caught a Prairie Vole. The look on his face! LOL I don’t think he thought he could! He dropped it and it ran off.

  3. Cute. Can come to my house. I have a lot of squirrels.
