This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

Did you notice? It’s my 200th Sunday post!

I have had such fun with this meme and can’t thank Kimberly enough for hosting it. I’ve met so many amazing fellow book lover’s and discovered many wonderful authors and books. It’s been a wonderful experience and I plan to keep on going.

And I got my new computer. I decided to let my computer guru dispose of my old one, but I did hang on to the hard drive, just in case. It’s taking me a bit to get the hang of this new computer. The keys are configured a bit differently and I find myself hitting the next key to the right all the time. I fixed that by moving my computer over a little bit, and doing better now. LOL It’s a Dell Inspiron and has all kinds of bells and whistles I’ll be checking out.

Happy 200th Sunday Post! Nice! Always good to see your updates. 🙂 I love that first Killer Species cover- wow. and The Feeding Frenzy one as well, along with the Dykeman Encounter (that one has m curious).

Those people look so screwed on those Killer Species covers lol.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks Greg. I enjoy yours too. I scroll up and down taking in all the great pics. The author really nails it with speaking to you in the kids voices. How do you say it, he tells the book as their age would. Really fun. I had a feeling Dykeman would catch your eye. LOL Aliens and a Sasquatch!

  2. I was all excited when I saw the Killer Species books but was gutted to check out the reviews which say it is for MG. Darn it! I thought I’d found a new horror writer to try! I don’t read kids horror so in spite of those amazing covers I need to give it a miss. *sigh* Enjoy your books!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I know what you mean. Sorry about that. I hem and haw at the adult horror I come across on Amazon. I’m tight with my budget and hate to get a dud. I rely on recommendations like yours:)

  3. I am glad you are enjoying your new computer, I really need to get one. Congrats on your 200 Sunday post post…lol. 🙂 Enjoy those reads they look really good!

I had money saved up for just such an event. Have some set aside in case my son needs one too. I’m having one problem. I logged out of Sherry’s sight and now can’t get back in. Not sure if it’s my computer or something on her end. Driving me crazy!

  4. Lauren Becker says:

Congrats on 200 Sunday Posts! That’s awesome. I do love link ups like these – you meet some really great people. 🙂

  5. It takes time getting used to a new computer. I just recently got a new computer myself and I’m still trying to get used to setting it up!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

    • fuonlyknew says:

My biggest problem is the keys are situated a little bit left of where I’m used to and I keep typing gibberish. LOL

  6. Congrats on 200 Sunday Posts! I really like this weekly meme, too. Every time my students need help on the Chromebooks at school, I can’t type correctly. The keys are too close together compared to any full-size laptop keyboard. I hope you figure out and love all your new bells and whistles!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks. It’s been a blast. I’m getting the hang of it. Just need to keep checking to see I haven’t got a bunch of typos since the keys are offset from my old one.

  7. Katherine P says:

Congrats on 200 posts! That’s quite a lot of Sunday Posts though I agree it’s the best! Good luck getting used to all the new computer! It’s always fun to have a new gadget though sometimes it does drive me nuts because I want things just to work.. Have a great week!

  8. atothewr says:

Congrats on 200 and a new computer.

  9. Wahoo!! Congrats on 200th post 🙂 Jillian Ashe’s books look really good! I look forward to your thoughts. Keep us posted on the new computer!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m so excited. Thank you for these fun meme! I just finished both books last night. Couldn’t sleep and read until almost 5 A.M.! Now I have to go grab the third one.

  10. yvonne473 says:

Congrats on your 200th! I see a few books on your list that are on mine too. Enjoy! Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks! And that’s what’s fun about these posts. We get to see who likes the same kind of books so we can find more!

  11. Yay for new computers! I am struggling just a bit to go back to my MacBook Air because I had a pro with the touch bar. I keep trying to unlock my computer with my fingerprint but there is no touch bar now! Haha!
    Congrats on 200 Sunday Posts!

  12. Happy 200! *throws confetti* I’m closing in on the number myself. 🙂 I have a love/hate relationship with new tech. I hate change, but love new stuff. lol Good luck figuring out all the bells and whistles.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I noticed that when I visited your post. A lot of us have been sharing each Sunday for a long time:) I don’t like change. I know just enough to screw things up. LOL

  13. I love the cover of the killer species book and that series looks really interesting. I’m glad the Biker Witch book was still free as I really want to read that series someday.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Those covers are killer. I read the synopsis for the Biker Witch series and had to grab it then. A bit outside my norm but sure sounds good.

  14. krazaykris says:

Looks like you have a lot of fun and scary reading on your hands. And congrats on your 200th post!

  15. jsamuelsen says:

Lots of books! Room with a clue looks interesting it reminds me of the game clue.

  16. Glad you are enjoying your new computer! 🙂 You’ll get used to in no time.

Hope you enjoy all your new books! ~Aleen

  17. That’s a lot of Sunday Posts! Ugh, getting used to a new keyboard can suck sometimes if the keys are positioned in a way that you keep hitting the wrong thing. Enjoy your new computer though!

  18. Hooray for the new computer! Have fun playing with it. Aw man, why do you have to tempt me with all those freebies? 😀

  19. Drangonfly says:

I agree this meme is the best! Congrats on your new computer and Happy reading the nightcrowler looks good!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I look forward to every Sunday:) The title for Nightcrawler caught me first. Then that great cover and blurb!

  20. Yay for the new computer! I think you have also convinced me that my Halloween theme this year should be zombies. I hope you are having a wonderful week. 🙂

  21. jennifer@badbirdreads says:

    Oooh, some awesome freebies!

  22. Congrats on your 200th Sunday Post! I agree that this meme has been a great way to get to know other bloggers!
