This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

My internet modem is acting strange and I keep losing WiFi so I apologize in advance if I don’t make it to your posts. Of course, it happens on the weekend when I can’t do anything about it. I swear, it’s always something, isn’t it. We are so used to having everything right at our finger tips and then something goes wiggy and frustration sets in. Good thing I have plenty of print books to read and my television is on satellite. LOL

My bananas aren’t doing much new so I thought I’d share this beauty with ya!

That’s my pooch, Quigley. He sure knows how to take a nap. LOL He likes to pull down the pillows and covers into a pile and wallow in them. Sometimes he actually gets under the covers and puts his head on my pillow. I have to tuck the blankets under the mattress and put a sheet over the coverlet or his dog hair gets on everything. What a life, eh?!

I’ll be heading over to your posts soon. Happy Sunday!

  1. There’s nothing more frustrating than computer or connection issues when you have a shed load of stuff to get done! Still, it’s that horror time of the year so we’ll be having fun with that! Something to look forward to anyway!

  2. Can’t wait to see all your horror reviews this month! I keep wanting to do something cool but it seems I never get it done I need to start working on it at the beginning of the year…lol.

    Enjoy your new reads!

I’m doing a bunch of Hunter’s books this week. I’ll probably do a few more at the end of the month too. He has such scary good ones!

  3. Oh, I hope your internet improves! Too bad about the lack of bananas change 😀 have a great week!!

    • fuonlyknew says:

At least once a day I have to do a reboot. Hoping it holds out until the repairman gets here Thursday but not holding my breath. The bananas have another leaf open but no flowers or bananas are forming. Might not get any but still hoping.

  4. We take the Internet for granted until it’s not there…

I hope you have a great weekend and new week. Thanks for sharing; love the photo of your dog getting cozy.

    Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep. My son says he’s glad he was born when he was. Doesn’t know what he’d do without internet and the technology he’s grown up with. LOL Yes indeed. Quigley knows how to live the good life. Such a rascal:)

  5. The Man just bought a new super scary Star Trek looking router. It has six little wing things coming off it and is mounted to the wall. It’s supposed to have 3 different channels, and of course when I started inputting the password Friday night it would not work. So much for improvement. It is always something. Now with all the things I do based on an Internet connection, I don’t think I could go back to a life without Internet. I mean, it makes paying bills SO much easier!

Baby would do the same thing as Quigley before The Man and I started dating. Now she has a full run of beds (four plus the couch) and won’t sleep with me anymore, but I would wake up with her face buried in my hair at the nape of my neck on the pillow. I loved it.

    • fuonlyknew says:

You need to share a picture on your blog so I can see that cool router! Mine is just a plain black one. Guess it doesn’t matter what mine looks like as it’s tucked away on a corner.
Quigley likes to snuggle up against my back. He’s startled me a few times by snoring in my ear, waking me up thinking someone is in my room. LOL

  6. I hate it when the internet starts acting up, especially when you are trying to make posts! I hope your internet gets better!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  7. Greg Hill says:

WiFi and Internet problems can be so aggravating. You’re right we get used to having them always “on” and when they’re not, the frustration sets in. 🙂

Cute pic! He sure knows how to get cozy. 🙂

  8. Quigley has the right idea! That’s what I wanted to do this morning. Looks like you grabbed some good books this week (running off to check out some of them now).

    • fuonlyknew says:

He sure does. Makes me want to crawl back in bed. Especially on a Monday morning! LOL I’m having fun with my Halloween feature. Got all kinds of books and stuff to share.

  9. I’m planning to read Katie Ruggle series soon! Been hearing awesome things about about the series. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your books this week. Have a wonderful week. ??

Quigley knows how to live his life to the fullest! Haha Same like my Momo. ?❤️

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m getting ready to listen to the audibles. A friend said they are amazing! Yep, Squidward, my pet name for Quigley, lives the life:)

  10. Awww… I love Quigley! It’s funny he pulls everything down and creates his own bed. Ha ha. XD Come on bananas, don’t let us down now!

You found some creepy looking new books for October. I hope they are as scary as their covers. Have a wonderful week. 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

He’s something else. LOL I’m beginning to worry my bananas won’t make it. Taking so long. And I’ve got some good scary ones to share all month!

  11. Quigley sure looks comfy cozy. 🙂 Some great books, as always.

  12. Melissa (My World...in words and pages) says:

Sorry to hear about your modem. Hope it straightened out for you. And those military/dog covers look so much like Piper Drake’s books. 😀 Hope you enjoy!
