After a couple of weeks of some of the worst winter weather I can remember here on the Gulf coast, it’s finally over. For now anyway.
I don’t do cold all that well, which really sucks as I have a job that requires working outside. I worked in temps that were in the 20s and I’m surprised I didn’t get frostbite. But the weather is finally getting back to normal with high 60s and low 70s for at least the next week!
I’m taking the day off from blogging to get outside and smell the roses! Here’s a little something to brighten your day.

It’s cold here but not unusual for us this time of the year. I think my bones are just objecting to winter now!
We have a damp cold here and now that I’m older, my bones let me know too:)
Weather in the 20s…ha, ha. Last week here in Illinois we had lows in the morning of 0-4 degrees! Brrrr….now that’s cold. Of course I hid in the house all week. This week it is supposed to be in the 50s by afternoons….yeah! I’m glad because I start radiation treatments and will be going everyday for a while.

Glad it finally broke.Man that was brutal.
It sure was! We didn’t even open for work the week of New Years and closed last Wednesday too. I froze my butt off last week at work!
