This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

I’m so happy this week is behind me. It’s been freezing. In my job, I work outside and have had to start late each day while waiting for it to warm up enough to actually work. That left me cold and tired so my blogging suffered for it. I only reviewed one book this week! But never fear, I have a bunch ready for next week. And the weather is back to 60s and 70s finally!  Doing my happy dance. LOL

  1. Greg Hill says:

Glad it’s warm somewhere ha ha! Although we’re warming up just a bit… not enough though. Love the look of your new books- especially those first two.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep, it finally warmed up and I’m busy cleaning up things outside. Sure feels good to go outdoors without freezing:) That first book was a freebie. Not sure if it still is though if you want to check it out, Greg.

  2. Jackie says:

Thanks for sharing. I’m always up for some freebies and I just downloaded Miss Frost solves a Cold Case. I hope the weather brightens up in your neck of the woods. Work safe , stay warm.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I have fun browsing for freebies to share. The hard part is not grabbing all of them. LOL The sun is shining and its feeling pretty nice here now. Thanks!

  3. I’m glad it’s warming up for you – I can’t imagine working outside in all kinds of weather and temperatures!
Your new books look awesome, Laura. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    • fuonlyknew says:

It was so cold at work and that really tires a person out. Glad its moved on for now, Lexxie. I do have some great books too cozy up with, don’t I! Hope your week is wonderful too.

  4. At some point this year I plan to read the first Trackers book…when that’ll be, I’m not sure! It is really cold today and I can’t seen to heat up thanks to my stupid thyroid issues! Still, it means a night of reading to take my mind of it…

    • fuonlyknew says:

Sorry about your thyroid issues. I’m having some problems with mine too. I think you’d enjoy the Trackers series. I spent this weekend reading the first three and going over to grab the next one now. I loved them.

  5. Vani | Off-Color Literature says:

Sorry about the bad weather! So much worse if you have to work outside. It’s snowing here now, and I’m hoping it’s over quickly because I do notttt care for it.

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s unusually cold for the south. We couldn’t work at all on Wednesday as everything stayed well below freezing. Sure glad to see the sun shining and in the 60s right now!

  6. Its been freezing (and snowy) here, glad its finally warming up, fingers crossed my kids finally get to go back to school tomorrow.

  7. I hear you about the weather! I am so ready for Spring. I know this much be a lot worse when you work outside, so glad it is warming up for you.

Have a great week and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

We’re warming up nicely now but I know it won’t last. February usually hits us hard a couple of times before winter eases up.

  8. I can’t really complain about the weather, as it is mostly 50s and 60s, and occasionally 70s.

Enjoy your books! I like the look of Miss Frost Solves a Cold Case…because “Frost” was my birth name (which I changed to Snow for my writing and blogging).

Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s finally back to 60s here! That’s fun about changing your name from Frost to Snow. Still in the same category. LOL

  9. Working outside in all this cold does not sound fun. I’m fighting my inclination to hibernate as it is. I’m glad it’s gotten a bit warmer. I could do without seeing highs below freezing. Have a great week and enjoy your new books!

  10. I would not be able to work out in these temperatures. This weather just makes me tired and want to stay in bed…which I did most of this week. Happy reading!

  11. Wow! You sure got a lot of awesome books this week! I hope you have a lovely week!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  12. sjhigbee says:

I’m so pleased that the weather has warmed up for you – we have months of cold, rainy days ahead of us before it all gets bearable again:(. I love the look of Mars Journey and hope you have a great reading week, Laura!

  13. Working outside must have been miserable during the cold spell. I imagine that living where you do, you don’t necessarily have a lot of cold-weather clothing, either. Brrrr. My sympathies! I’m glad your warm weather has returned. It actually got unseasonably warm here in Virginia today — 61. I took a nice brisk walk.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I don’t even own a heavy winter coat. LOL But I bundled up in layers and got through it. This week will be around 60 and I’ll take that!

  14. Glad you’re getting a warm up. Sounds like you need it, especially since you work outside. We are having 65 degree temps here today. I swear Mother Nature is off her meds.

    • fuonlyknew says:

It was muggy and warm at work today. I got done before the rain moved in. Dark, lots of thunder and the rain is just beginning. I’ll take that over freezing any day! LOL

  15. You work outside? Brrrr, I would freeze to death if I worked outside!! You have all my sympathies! I’m not even going to look at those freebies because I am on a no buy anything (even if free) streak that I hope to keep going for another few days 😉

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep, I froze last week. LOL Nicer weather this week, but of course that means rain. I went on a bit of a buying binge this week. So many books that were on my wish list went on sale so I quickly snatched them up.

  16. Jenea says:

Your weather sounds wonderful this week. Send some our way please. ☺
