I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

I’ve settled into my new job and they are keeping me busy. I finally had a day off after working 21 in a row between both jobs. This weekend I have off and am going to spend it reading outside and enjoying the pool!

Last week I shared how my Sega was sprouting it’s new leaves.

Those sega’s are crazy how fast they grow! And 21 days straight… yeah I’d say that calls for a pool day. 🙂

    Have a awesome weekend!!

  2. Wow.. that are a lot of work days! Enjoy your weekend off. You deserve it! 😉
    Happy Reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It was but having this couple of days off has me all ready to go again. And my schedule is a lot less busy now too.

  3. Wow, what a busy month for you. I’m glad you’ve got the weekend off 🙂

  4. *Flora* says:

Although the genres that you’ve read and will read are not my cup of tea – I love those book covers! Thanks for posting a “before” and “after” picture of your sega, I love watching plants grow and strengthen. Enjoy your weekend off.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I read a lot of different genres and love sharing authors and books. My sega is still growing and it will be fun to share it’s progress next Sunday.

  5. sjhigbee says:

Blimey, Laura – 21 days without a break! You’ve definitely earnt a pool day – thank you for once more posting your wonderful pics of your growing plants… We have nothing that grows that fast, but things are certainly shifting in the garden – especially the weeds!

  6. Whoa, you picked up some fabulous new books this week! Happy reading!

  7. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

Wow 21 days without a break. You definitely deserve this break. I hope you have a great week ahead.

  8. I grabbed a couple of those freebies. Thank you.

That plant is very interesting looking. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before. So cool. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.

Your Sega looks like it’s doing good. You are wearing me out just reading about working 21 days in a row! Enjoy your time off! You got some great book so hopefully you enjoy them. I thought about the John Everson book but I didn’t like the first book I read from him and I was afraid…lol.

Have a great week and happy reading!

Everything is growing so fast. I finally got some trimming and weeding done with the weekend off. Now to get to my shows and books!

  10. I’ve been feeling back to normal for getting books read this weekend and I hope to get another one looked at tonight before a sleepless night waiting to watch Game of Thrones tomorrow morning when I get up!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m recording GOT and waiting until it is over to binge them. My crazy work schedule had me working when some of the shows aired. Trying to avoid any spoilers about it now.

  11. Tammy says:

Looks like you have a bunch of new Flame Tree Press books to read, have fun😁

  12. 21 days in a row is way too much work, Laura!! I’m glad you have the weekend off to read and take advantage of your pool.
Your sega looks amazing 🙂 Isn’t it awesome how a little sun can make such big changes in little time?
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

    • fuonlyknew says:

The worst is behind me and now I have a less crazy schedule. It was those extra training sessions that added to my work load. I can already see new growth on the sega. Excited to see how it will be by next weekend.

  13. 21 days in a row?!? Too much! But the plant looks great!

  14. Love that plant growth! And all those books look tempting. Enjoy…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  15. asreadbytina says:

I love the plant growth! I ended up snatching Cinderella Screwed Me Over. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I hope you rest!

  16. I hope you enjoyed your day off. It’s too cold here to do much outside. Mr. Barb had to work this weekend but I have taken Cass on some walks. He’s bored inside (aka also possible depressed) so I’ve been giving him some special Mommy Time. We ended up watching The Dirt on Netflix last night and actually enjoyed it even though I’ve never been a huge fan of Motley Crue. Looks like you’ve got some good books to read and I really should start the Hell Diver series sooner rather than later.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I loved having the weekend off and feel all energized again:) I imagine you are also missing Booker T. Walking together sounds healing:)

  17. Beware Of The Reader says:

21 days of work in a row Laura??? I am in awe!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It was tiring. I may have to give up on my old job. I wasn’t expecting to get so much time on the new one.

  18. That’s a lot of days to work! I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend!

  19. alisbooks says:

    That Sega is super cool!

  20. kozbisa says:

I hope you are getting every relaxing second you earned out of this weekend, and are enjoying your flora (which looks awesome by the way). Ooooh. I saw Cindi Madsen and had to click (thanks!).

    • fuonlyknew says:

I enjoyed every second of my weekend off! I also did some weeding and trimming and the yard is looking fabulous. Got the pool all ready for swimming too.

  21. Yvonne says:

I’m glad you are settling into your new job. I’m settled into mine. It’s been 3 months for me and I like it. It’s so hard starting over, isn’t it? I hope you enjoy your books. Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s been three weeks now and I’m still learning things but getting the hang of it. I sure enjoyed a couple of days off from both jobs.

  22. Carole says:

I think you deserve a few days off! I am glad you are settling into your new job. Your plant has really taken off. It is amazing how quickly some plants can grow. I hope you have a great week, Laura!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I enjoyed the weekend off but it went so fast. LOL The sega is growing like crazy. I can’t wait to share more pictures next week.

  23. I’m so happy you have a weekend off. The weather looks good.

  25. 21 days, yikes! I hope you enjoyed your downtime. Whoa, that plant looks super cool and is growing FAST!

  26. You are amazing to work so much and run a blog/read! I am definitely excited for some warmer weather and seeing pictures of your Sega has me so excited for summer. Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I didn’t get a lot of reviews wrote ahead but I’ll get to that now that my schedule has calmed down. I plan to set aside some time for reading outside by the pool too!

  27. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Your plant looks great! You do need a break after working 21 days straight! Hope you enjoy a quiet day and get some rest! 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I got plenty of rest and ready to go back to work. My schedule is less hectic now that the training is done for my new job.

  28. StackingMy BookShelves says:

WOW, look at that plant. It’s amazing. I am still waiting till i can bring my plants outside to be in the sun and plant my veggies. Yes, I am starting a mini veggie garden this year. Wish me luck!! Have a great week!

    Mary

    • fuonlyknew says:

I used to have a veggie garden. No time for it now but I have a local farmer’s market that sells some beauties!

  29. Heidi says:

Gosh! Twenty one days in a row without a day off. Hope you enjoyed your day off. That Sego Palm is incredible. It reminds me of Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I loved my time off. Thanks! Flora does remind me of Audrey! LOL I love that movie. Went to see the play too!
