This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

May was such a hectic month and I’m so happy to see June. Working both jobs is taking up most of my time and I’m falling behind with everything. I’ve made myself sit down and work out a schedule for all of the things I need to get done. That even includes working in the yard and the dreaded cleaning of the house. LOL I don’t think I’ve ever let things get so crazy. I’m thinking this month will go smoother. Going to keep this short as I have several reviews to write and want to squeeze in some pool time.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

My new books this week.

  1. Greg says:

I didn’t get any books this week either. Dang it lol! Hope your schedule calms down a bit for you in June.

Love the look of Pitch Black and The Girls Across the Bay!

  2. I know how you feel about needing a schedule to get everything done and I don’t even work two jobs! Hopefully June is a bit calmer.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m settling into a new routine I think things will calm down. Now… to make myself let it happen. LOL

  3. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

I hope you get a schedule worked out soon. I hope your June is slower and you get to enjoy it. Have a great week ahead.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ve set some plans in motion to lighten things up and I will be enjoying the summer. It goes by so fast:)

  4. You have some interesting books! I’ll Never Stop looks fantastic!
    Genesis @ Whispering Chapters

  5. Working two jobs is a very difficult situation. My sister-in-law just started her third job. I don’t know how she does it.

Enjoy all your books. Here’s to a little free time for you this week.

  6. sjhigbee says:

Urg! I hope you don’t have to cram both jobs alongside each other for much longer, Laura. I know from experience that running two jobs together is an exhausting business… In the meantime, I hope you manage to find some downtime for yourself:)

    • fuonlyknew says:

I have one day a week just for me and I hope to be down to one job after the summer. I only stayed at my old job as a favor to them. They will be finding a replacement soon, I hope!

  7. Beware Of The Reader says:

Honestly Laura I don’t know how you manage working twwo jobs and still blogging! Writing a schedule is a great idea but I hope you won’t overdo and will take time to rest!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I won’t overdo things. The first thing is to not commit to new review books until I get through the ones I have. I plan on reading some of my own books too. What I need to figure out is blog visiting time. I miss so many posts right now and it drives me crazy thinking of what people are sharing that I have missed. LOL

  8. Sorry things are so crazy for you but I totally get it. Two Jobs is hard with Blogging and reading also and just getting yourself just some me time. It has been happening to be for a while but it is what it is. I am sure things will smooth out once you find a better routine but if not, try not to stress, it’s more important to take care of yourself.

I hope this week is awesome for you Laura! Happy Reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m trying not to stress and have a plan. I want to enjoy life and not worry about the little things:)

  9. Stormi D Johnson says:

We managed to have a couple nice days now we are back to chances of rain or storms all week long! 🙁 I am done with Spring!

Have a great week and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Our spring lasted about two weeks. Then it was hot and muggy. No rain and plenty of sun. I hope you get some too:)

  10. Tammy says:

Hope June is less hectic for you, and at some point you’ll only be working one job, right? Enjoy your pool time, it’s cool and cloudy here so I have no reason to go outside today😁

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yes, I plan to only have one job, but not until after the summer, I think. LOL Monday is a me day. I plan to listen to a good book and enjoy the pool. Maybe squeeze in a nap. LOL

  11. Oh gosh girl you are working too much! Hopefully you are able to get some time to yourself soon!

  12. glad to hear work is going well, despite doing both jobs. enjoy the pool
    sherry @ fundinmental Sunday Memes

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m so tired all the time. Getting better though and I’m sure things will settle down and I can enjoy some leisure time:)

  13. It’s great you have a plan. I love that when I have it all organized and can just execute the plan. My days “off” are those when I don’t have a specific plan and I can’t afford those much these next few months. Take care and enjoy your pool time and a few reads.

    Here is my Sunday Post

  14. Sounds like you have a plan. Hope June runs a more smoothly for you!

  15. kozbisa says:

I think it’s incredible that you work two jobs and still have time for blogger. You’re amazing.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks. It’s been a struggle with the blogging. I’ve shared lots of spotlights and memes to fill in the review posts I should have done. Working on a bunch of those now to catch up!

  16. Wow! You sure had a busy month! Hope June goes well for you!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog

  17. I’d skip the housework (in fact I often do LOL)

Have a great reading week and a joyful June.

  18. S. J. Pajonas (spajonas) says:

June is my busy month with all the “end of year” stuff happening for the kids. This week especially is nuts. I’m sitting here trying to gather strength to get through it all!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I remember thinking how great summer break was when the kids were out of school. I do remember how hectic it was at first. LOL

  19. I really hope you enjoyed your pool time. I’m sure the schedule will even out eventually.

  20. alisbooks says:

Looks like some great additions to your collection!

  21. Your schedule with the two jobs sounds really tough. I hope you can get things into an order that works for you. Good luck!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I have a couple of weeks coming up where I will only be working the one job. I sure am looking forward to that!
