This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

I swear I just blinked and another week flew by. I’m feeling much better now and spent some time in the pool, enjoying the last blast of summer. It’s still in the 90s here but at least the humidity has eased up. You really could fry an egg on the sidewalk! LOL

You may have noticed I’ve been light on reviews this month. I’ve been working on my 31 Days Of Thrills And Chills feature for October. I did it the last 2 years and had lots of fun. I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to write 31 reviews while working 2 jobs. I’ve got 13 written so far. It helps that I’ve already finished reading all of the books I plan to share. Looking forward to more spooky fun!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Ooh both The Passengers and The Last Thing She Said look good. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for 31 Days! that sounds fun (although a lot of work on your end)!

It’s been cooler here, today was beautiful but mild. No humidity, it was great. Been getting cool at nighttime too.

    Have an awesome week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s a lot fo work but also fun to share the books:) It’s still hot here but the humidity is lower and the early mornings cooler.

  2. Wow! 31 reviews! I wish I could read that many books. Hope you have a great week!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  3. I totally understand the blinking and suddenly it’s the weekend. It passed by so quickly! Good luck on writing those 31 reviews!

  4. I feel your pain as I’m just struggling to get motivated to write any reviews right now! I have over 20 that need to be written to get up to date and I’m just not getting it done at the moment!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I chose books from my TBR, freebies I’d grabbed and ARCs I’d received. Some reviews were written or partially written a while ago so I would be able to get them all done.

  5. I envy your plan as I am low energy on blog planning right now. I have a few areas I am working but mostly I am still using most of my energy on the house. And I LOVE planning. I got our pool keycards 2 weeks ago but it closes after today and I’m sure we aren’t going. Sigh. I don’t know how you manage so much while working 2 jobs. Have a wonderful week and good luck with your plans.

Glad you are feeling better! It’s been pretty warm here too and I actually think that September has been warmer than August…lol. Can’t wait to read all your cool reviews next month! 🙂 I don’t know how you read that many books for this I can very get two reviews a week up…lol.

Have a great week and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks. It took about six days before I felt better. I don’t ever want a summer cold again! I started working on the reviews ahead of time knowing October would get here before I knew it. Now I have to buckle down and get finished.

  7. Jan says:

I’m glad you’re still using your pool. It would be warm enough to do that here this week, but outdoor pools are closed up for the winter already. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Hope you have a great week!

  8. Its been in the 90’s here. I’m done with this weather. Forget frying an egg, you could fry ME on the sidewalk in this heat.

  9. 13 reviews written already is good progress! Especially if you’ve already read all the books you need to read… That’s the most time consuming part done!
I’m planning to do something similar for December but festive reads. 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I started reading the books I planned to share several months ago as I knew my time would be limited. I now have about 15 reviews to finish up and I’ll be ready.

  10. LOL I don’t have any jobs, and I can barely get three or four reviews written a week!

Have a great reading week, and good luck getting them all finished.

  11. yvonne473 says:

I do love the spooky books 🙂 I have a few of the same freebies. Hope you have a great week and enjoy your books!

  12. kozbisa says:

Good luck with all those reviews. I think I would run out of words at some point. Glad you are getting in some quality pool time. At least there is some benefit to it still be that hot where you live.

  13. Beware Of The Reader says:

OMG Laura 31 reviews??? While working two jobs? You are a wonder woman!

  14. Liliana says:

I love your 31 Days Of Thrills And Chills! I’m excited to see what you’ll do this year!

    And hurray for feeling better!

  15. I love your October feature and I think you’re doing great if you already have 13 done. I can’t wait to add all those wonderful books to my TBR. You should nickname it Evil October! I grabbed Paper, Scissors, Death too! Couldn’t resist that dog!

  16. Daniela Ark says:

still in the 90s! I’m jealous! I had to take all my sweaters out already (sobs) BUT I’m happy for you. Glad to hear you are feeling better. I can’t even write ONE review so… 31 reviews??? YOU ARE THE BEST! One by One sounds so good, I hope you write that one! 🙂

  17. thanks for sharing all the beauties
    sherry @ fundinmental

  18. Onisha Ellis says:

You really are a busy lady! I can’t imagine 31 reviews. I’m looking forward to some cooler weather now that we are in the mountains. Florida was too hot!

  19. Carole says:

I can barely handle the one job so I have no idea how you manage to juggle two, read, and blog. I hope you enjoy all of your new books and have a great week!

  20. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Wow, I can’t imagine writing 31 reviews while working two jobs! That’s amazing! Glad to hear the humidity is lower, that does make it feel a little cooler. We’re cooling down to the 80s this week, thank goodness! Happy reading, Laura! 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had to start early so I could have some down time between writing reviews. I didn’t want to write lazy ones. LOL

  21. S. J. Pajonas (spajonas) says:

I’ve been enjoying the weather here and been wishing our town pool was open. There have been plenty of days when the weather was perfect to be there!
