This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

Spring is in the air! I’m sitting here with the windows open, enjoying a warm breeze and the fresh air. Everything is blooming and growing. So much green! Especially my lawn, which needs to be mowed. LOL I have plans to get outside Monday and do some much needed clean up. Lots of dead stuff and weeds to remove. I know it needs to be done as I really let it go last year. What I really want to do is sit out there and read a good book. Maybe I’ll find time for both!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Ooh I envy your green haha! It’s just cold here. 🙂 But hey it’s March, spring can’t be far right?

    Happy Sunday!

  2. I wish spring was in the air here! There was another storm hitting us this weekend with high winds, rain and sleety snow! Hopefully spring will stop this coronavirus-too many new cases in the UK this week for my liking but none yet in Scotland. Must grab the Dave Jeffery book soon!

  3. Sam@WLABB says:

We had a cold snap (it’s in the 20s and windy), so I am jealous of your warmth. Enjoy it for the both of us.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Brr!! That is cold. It’s 60s and sunny here today. Got the windows open and enjoying the breeze:)

  4. Our grass is just starting to grow. Maybe a mowing in a week or two. “Whimsical Leprosy” is a cool title for a book (one of the freebies).

    • fuonlyknew says:

My grass is getting tall. I’m so glad he showed up to mow today. And I love the smell of fresh cut grass. I love the title and cover for Whimsical Leprosy. Had to grab it!

  5. Tammy says:

We have so many flowers blooming all of a sudden, it’s so beautiful. I know the cold weather isn’t over yet (it comes and goes in California) but I’m enjoying it while it lasts😁

    • fuonlyknew says:

We never had enough cold days to kill things off here so I have my work cut out for me on shaping things up.

  6. You need a ride on mower.. then you can mow and read in comfort!

Wishing you a great reading week

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had a friend that lives next door to me and he has his lawn guy do mine. He’s out there right now!

  7. yvonne473 says:

It’s been a bit chilly here but nice and sunny. I’m loving it. Those freebies look so good. I already picked up a few 🙂 Hope you have a great week!

  8. Beware Of The Reader says:

Enjoy that feel of spring Laura! It was also nearly balmy this morning when I went for a hike!

  9. It snowed a bit here on Thursday/Friday. Today its suppose to be 60. Pick a lane, Ohio!

    • fuonlyknew says:

LOl We didn’t get snow here but we did get some temps in the 20s. They didn’t last long though.

  10. Northwoman says:

It’s been cold but we are warming up this week. Not quite enough for lawn mowing but certainly there is yard cleanup I should do. I hope you are getting more of a break now than you were before. Happy reading!

Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post

  11. Ooo the weather sounds like it has been lovely for you and I hope you had chance to get some jobs done around the garden. Sadly the weather isn’t feeling very spring here! I really can’t wait to start reading in the garden again!

    Here’s my Sunday Post: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2020/03/01/sunday-reflection-1st-march-2020/ 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I spent some time before work this morning cleaning up the back deck and washing chairs and tables. Now I just need spring to stay so I can sit out there and read….and nap. LOL

  12. Maureen Bakker says:

OMG Spring.. I can’t wait for some better weather. We saw the sun briefly today, so I’m hopeful but it has been raining mostly these last view weeks. I’m so over it.
Have a great week and happy reading.

  13. Liliana says:

Spring, yay! It starting to feel like Spring around here too! At this time last year we had PILES of snow everywhere still! It was insane! But this weekend I’ve been driving around town with the windows down and it’s SO nice!

    Have a great week! 😊

  14. We’re back and forth here. Sometimes it feels like spring and sometimes it’s freezing. I’m not enjoying the freezing. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

We will probably get one more blast of winter. Then it should be all spring like here. I can’t wait for pool time!

  15. Stormi D Johnson says:

I hope spring shows up soon! It’s going to be decent hear but maybe not open my windows nice yet…lol.

Hope you have a great week and happy reading!

  16. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Spring is definitely here in Southern California, too. We always get it early. My wisteria will be flowering soon, and I can’t wait. Looks like you got a few fun cozy mysteries. Happy reading, Laura! 🙂

  17. We’ll be getting some warm weather here this week! I can’t wait!

  18. Oh how I would love for this snow to melt and be pulling weeds! (Did I just say that?!) I hope that you have an enjoyable week outdoors, Laura!

    • fuonlyknew says:

LOL I need to start yard work before it gets hot. Spring doesn’t last long here and then it gets steamy.

  19. i’ve been trying to get outside too. got some stuff done yesterday, but your know it never ends……

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had two trees cut down here and I hope I can get the guys to cut down a few things for me when they come back to clean up!

  20. alisbooks says:

I just finished telling my son I’m about to need him to start mowing again. I have some flowers that are close to blooming, though, so I’m looking forward to that!

  21. Carole says:

I hope we don’t need to mow for a while yet. Of course, my husband takes care of that so I guess I am lucky.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’d do it myself if I could afford a riding mower. My last one died and I can’t afford a new one.

  22. I’m ready for Spring but really can’t complain about our Winter so far. I’m looking forward to the clock change even if it means we’re losing an hour. I’ll take it but man, it will really throw the dogs off. Hope you have a wonderful week!

  23. It’s still pretty cold here in NH but we’ll get there eventually!

  24. ericarobyn says:

I cannot wait for warmer weather! We’ve gotten small spurts of it here and there. Have a great week!
