Some chit chat.

We dodged a bullet and both of the tropical storms came in West of us. I feel for those that were in their path. Hurricane Laura packed a wicked punch.

Got some exciting news! For me, at least. LOL I put in for a week’s vacation and got approved. I’ll be off near the end of September. Perfect time for enjoying the pool. It’s still very much summer with maybe less humidity. I can’t wait!

Glad you didn’t get hit by the storms! I saw some pictures from Laura and yikes! Also congrats on your vacation. Hope it’s a good one when it arrives! 🙂

  2. It is a relief to hear that both storms missed you, although very sad for those that were affected by them. And great that you’ve got some holiday time confirmed – Lucky you that the weather should be perfect for some pool time. I’m afraid summer is on the way out here, however autumn is my favourite season: time for golden leaves, woolly tights, scarves, warming soups, and snuggling up in blankets. 😊 Take care and happy reading in the coming week.
