Some chit chat.

Been a crazy week. I did a lot of cleaning. Started organizing my Christmas decorations to get them ready to put up. Cooked a lot. Binged some shows and holiday movies. And worked a bit of overtime. I’m so ready for a vacation! My last one I spent in the dark when Hurricane Sally roared through here. I think I’ll start planning my vacations for some time other than hurricane season. LOL

I wish you all a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

I’m feeling the need to decorate too. November is flying by. And I watched a few shows this week too, after not binging anything for weeks haha! Hope you’re having a good weekend!

    Happy thanksgiving!!!

  2. I hope all your preparation goes well and that you will have a lovely Thanksgiving. Take care and happy reading! 🙂

  3. I have pulled out our holiday decorations as well! It is nice to have a little sparkle to brighten up your spirits. I hope that your next vacation is a bit more relaxed! 😉

So many of my neighbors have already put out their decorations. I think we all need some sparkle in these times. It’s being said that we may go back into lockdown.

We are hoping to go through the house in the coming week to do a thorough sort-out and clean! It’s very, very overdue… I hope you manage to have a really good break over Thanksgiving, Laura – sitting in the dark waiting for Sally isn’t much of a relaxation!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I like to do a deep clean before decorating. I plan to sit back and relax for Thanksgiving. And no, my vacation wasn’t too fun. No power or internet so the days and nights were long.

  9. Hope you get some time to relax soon! Great bunch of books!

I hope you have a good vacation, Laura. I’m excited that this is a short work week and I have a nice long weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

  11. Yeah, spending a week in the dark due to a hurricane doesn’t seem like a vacation to me! Hopefully you get some time soon!

  12. Sophie @BewareOfTheReader says:

Ha yes maybe that will be a good idea to have your holiday when you don’t have a natural disaster looming on the horizon Laura! By the way, I hope all the damages have been repaired by now and that you are able to breathe a little! Have a good Thanksgiving week.

  13. I’m going to wait until after Thanksgiving to do any decorating. I’m not sure how much I’ll do this year. I feel more like working on long term projects. My daughter will want to do all the decorating though. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you get some relaxing time off and get to read some of your books!

  15. I’ve got one of Eddie’s books on my e-reader but haven’t read it yet. He always has great eyecatching titles! The Rice books look great…I have the first one I think. I’m facing a lot of hard work in my bedroom but I just don’t feel fit enough to do it right now but I sort of need to do it anyway! I could use a holiday too!
