“Oh my,” Mom said. “Who is it?”
“It’s hard to tell with all the makeup,” I said.
Mom held her hand to her mouth and her eyes grew huge. “Is it a dead zombie?”
“I think that’s redundant,” Vi said.
Mom and I both glared at her.
This scene is from the 5K Zombie Fun Run. The participants dress up as zombies for the race. Didn’t want you to think it had real zombies in this book. LOL
I’ve read several books by this author and had such fun. And I love that this takes place in the state I grew up in. Watch for my review in April.
