Dragon’s Game
Moonsongs Book #4
By E.J. Wesley
Jenny Moonsong recently inherited the title of “monster hunter” and an ancient tribal journal/how-to manual passed down by her Apache ancestors. She has already faced a werewolf, witches, and a troll. But nothing could prepare her for her latest confrontation…
Dragon’s Game, Moonsongs Book 4, finds Jenny out of her rural West Texas element, searching for an evil witch in an urban Houston nightclub. After attempting to help a handsome and mysterious stranger out of a jam, she finds herself on the run from a ruthless gang who are even more dangerous than they initially appear.
Forced into a twisted game of life and death, Jenny must navigate the complexity of a budding relationship, and somehow survive a night filled with unexpected horror and paranormal mystery.
Dragon’s Game is approximately 14,000 words or 45 pages, and is the fourth volume of the Moonsongs Books, an ongoing series of New Adult, speculative / urban fantasy novelettes by author E.J. Wesley.

“She’ll miss ranch life. She’s got horse blood in her veins.”
Dad followed me, and as I saddled up, he started deluging me with all sorts of advice, telling me to hope for the best but plan for the worst, neither a borrower nor a lender be, keep your head up and your nose clean and your powder dry, and if you have to shoot, shoot straight and be damn sure you shoot first. He would not shut up.
Jeannette Walls – Half Broke Horses ( great book!)
I swear I recognize this but I know I haven’t read Half Broke Horses. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to check this one out.
Cool cover.
This is the fourth book in the series. I featured the first three on WWW Wednesday. I’m waiting for the fifth installment to be available. I’m reading these like M&M candies! You’d really enjoy these short exciting stories and the characters are so fun.
I’ll be posting my reviews for the tour in January!
I think novellettes are underrated forms of literature.
I agree. I am reading many right now and also some serials and having a blast. The quality of writing is great and there are no wasted words. Also, the authors develop the characters vividly and I am eager for each new story!
Sounds like an exciting read! I added you to the Linky list.
Happy weekend!
Hi Fread. I’m now waiting for the fifth story. Hope it’s finished before I;m due to review! Thanks for adding me. I’ve missed a couple weeks and will be over shortly to see everybody elses!
