Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Sun is shining. Summer is really heating up here. Most people are wrapping up their summers. Here in the south, it’s now peak season and the humidity is so high, when you walk out the door your glasses fog up. Have you ever heard that if you walk out backwards your glasses won’t fog up? Sometimes it actually works! Must have something to do with the moist air not immediately hitting your lenses.

Aside from swimming and reading, I’ve been binging on Netflix again. Just got the new season of Once Upon A Time and decided to go back and start at the beginning. I’m on Episode 9 and only have 103 episodes to go. LOL I never seem to get enough of the television shows. Even with Fear The Walking Dead started now and The Walking Dead coming in a month, along with Survivor, I still want more. Got any good ones to recommend?

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday posts so be sure to leave me your link.

That late summer humidity is not my favorite but we’re headed for fall in a month or so. I know it won’t cool down there as much, and frankly when we’re freezing our butts off you’ll be nice and warm so you might have the better end of the deal. πŸ™‚ I’m all tapped out on Netflix at the moment, and didn’t see the first FTWD the other night, but I am looking forward to somenew shows.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Supposedly, the rain and humidity will taper off soon, but this is also peak hurricane season. Yikes! So far, only one is in the Gulf and it will be small and stay east of us.

  2. Deborah says:

It’s a beautiful day here in Australia today too Laura. Stunning! Winter’s coming to an end however and Spring is about to arrive.

I move in a week or so and I’m really hoping I can get Netflix when I move to my new house… fingers crossed!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s funny how are seasons are so different. LOL Good luck on getting Netflix. It’s addictive. And have fun building your new nest!

  3. Maree says:

I’ve been watching Dr Who and Torchwood on Netflix. I’ve heard good things about Stranger Things, so I think I’ll pick that one up next.

    Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I enjoyed Stranger Things. I’ve read that some people didn’t but that just made me more curious. LOL

  4. Yes, every other blog is talking about how it feels like fall, and where I am it’s pretty much at the hottest it’s been all summer.

103 episodes?! Oh goodness. That’s not overwhelming at all lol. But hey, if you enjoy it, it’s just more for you to look forward to! I’m not a big TV person myself. Pretty much just watching Suits as new episodes come on each week lol.

    • fuonlyknew says:

My TV time is late afternoon and evening. I do watch the news in the morning to check the weather as I work outdoors and this is hurricane season.

  5. That’s some serious humidity, Laura! Walk backwards, eh? Not sure that would be very practical :p
TV shows!! My daughter and I are bingeing on Lie to Me on Netflix. It only has three seasons, but we’re loving it, always watching each other for micro-expressions to figure out if the other is telling the truth or not πŸ˜€
You got a nice stack of books this week, and I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  6. I laugh when people start talking about fall at the end of August because here in NYS we usually get some of our hottest temps in September. It must be an East Coast thing. Ha ha. Have you seen the TV show Stranger Things? Everybody seems to be talking about it. I think I will start watching it soon. Have a super week. πŸ™‚

    • fuonlyknew says:

I know. The humidity is wicked and the heat just builds. LOL I did watch the first season of Stranger Things and will be following that series. I need new episodes of The 100 and I Zombie!

  7. I don’t wear glasses but that’s a really fun fact. If I ever see someone doing it, now I’ll know why! I have Once Upon A Time on my list of series to watch someday, whenever I get time!

    • fuonlyknew says:

My mother told me about the walking backwards. I rolled my eyes at her, but then I tried it and it worked! Not every time but most. LOL Once Upon A Time is fun and addictive.

  8. I love the heat…bring it on. πŸ™‚ I only picked up one book.I couldn’t resist Dying Eyes. Good to see you yesterday. On my way to check out your other posts I have missed in the past couple of days.

  9. sjhigbee says:

Yes… it’s actually been hot enough here to be humid during this last week! I use glasses wipes, they are very good at stopping my glasses fog. It’s been a great week – I really like the look of Defragmenting Daniel – brilliant cover! Have a great week and this is my Sunday Post https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/08/28/sunday-post-28th-august/

    • fuonlyknew says:

I use the wipes and a spray for mine, but the humidity is stifling and nothing works every time. LOL I loved that creative cover. Funny that I spotted a book with a similar cover the next day!

  10. Once Upon a Time is in my list. I’ll get to it eventually. lol We’re still trying to get caught up with Supernatural and hubby & I started NCIS. I watch so little tv that when I do, I binge for a whole day. πŸ˜€

  11. I am not looking at any of your freebies! I just realized that I still have a large number of books on my yearly challenges that need to be read in the next four months. But thanks for sharing! Hope your upcoming week will be great! Here’s my Sunday Post: http://marelithalkink.blogspot.co.za/2016/08/the-sunday-post-double-up-to-100.html

    • fuonlyknew says:

LOL There are a bunch, aren’t there. It’s fun to browse for them and I usually do pretty good at not grabbing them for myself:)

  12. We’re still on broil here in North Alabama and I’m just about done with this heat. And the humidity is even worse! I haven’t tried the going out backwards trick. I don’t wear glasses but my husband does so I’ll have to tell him to try it. I love going back to the beginning on favorite shoes! I haven’t watched Once Upon a Time but it’s on my To Watch list. Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Make sure you warn him to watch his step! LOL I am watching so many different TV shows and Netflix sure is handy.

  13. We are working our way through Once Upon A Time and Person of Interest on Netflix. Our weather is weird, the last two weeks were gorgeous and today Hot an Humid. Ugh. Now through Thanksgiving we will see everything from Fall like weather to hot, sticky days…and even snow. Have a wonderful week!

  14. It’s still pretty hot here but not as bad as a couple weeks ago. I am curious what you think of Witches Protection Program cause I have that one. πŸ™‚

    Have a great week!

    Week in Review

    • fuonlyknew says:

Witches Protection Program was a fun one. I’ve read all but a couple of Michael’s books and this is a fun one, Stormi. I think you’d enjoy it. review will be up on Tuesday.

  15. I hate when my glasses fog up. I usually have my hands loaded down carrying stuff. I recently started watching Gilmore Girls again and flew through the series. I’m rewatching another old series, but I’m nervous for when it ends. What am I going to watch then? It’s also heating up here. It sucks having afternoon bus duty in the heat! Thankfully the kids are hot, too, and they don’t hang around – they go get on their buses.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Same with me! I’m lucky I don’t trip and break something! I keep meaning to check out Gilmore Girls. A friend really enjoys the show. I can sympathize with the heat. I work outdoors all day and come home soaking wet.

  16. I have heard amazing things about A Promise of Fire! Can’t wait to see what you think of it!

  17. yvonne473 says:

All those great looking books! Love the covers. I can’t believe summer is just about over here, but the weather is still warm. Have a great week!

  18. Ooooh I love a good Netflix binge! I haven’t caught up on Once Upon a Time but I’ve really been meaning to! I don’t think I’d go all the way back to the beginning though! XD Enjoy your new books!

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

  19. With the kids back in school we haven’t been swimming at all and temperatures have backed off a little. We’re only in the low 100’s, which is decent for this time of year. πŸ˜‰ A Promise of Fire looks really good. Enjoy all your lovely books and thanks for stopping by!

  20. It’s pretty muggy here in Virginia, but thankfully it hasn’t been quite as hot — 80s instead of high 90s like it was earlier in August. But I’m looking forward to the cooler, drier days of early fall, and the crisp days of October and early November.

Enjoy re-watching OAAT. My daughter enjoys it, but I haven’t watched it. I tend to head for books rather than TV when I’m tired at night. Still, I need to get back to watching Doctor Who once I finish the Poirot mysteries.

    Have a great week!

  21. Melissa (My World...in words and pages) says:

Oh wow! That’s a lot of Once Upon A Time episodes! I know there are a few episodes of the dark Emma season I missed. I need to find those just to catch up. Looking forward to the new season. πŸ˜€

    Have a great week!
