I didn’t do a lot of my usual features this week. When WordPress updated, the gremlins ran amok on my blog. I’m not kidding. It was chaos trying to fix things. The most persistent problem was trying to hide links behind images. After many attempts, I just couldn’t fix it. Know how I finally did? I dreamed about it. Got up Saturday morning, tried what I dreamed about, and it worked. Go figure. I do this often when writing reviews. I’ll dream about something I want to say, wake up, and quickly jot it on a notepad conveniently sitting on my night stand.
You know that saying, “Why fix it if it ain’t broke.” I seriously wonder sometimes if the powers that be play with stuff just to screw with me. LOL

Sorry you had blog problems. But that’s crazy and awesome that you dreamed the solution, haha. Ooh I’ve read iZombie. I was disappointed with the last volume (supposedly they got rushed to wrap it up or something), but overall I still enjoyed the series, hopefully you will too!
I just loathe updates. They always mess something up and when I ask for help, they don’t do much. It is weird that I dreamed the solution. LOL I love the iZombie series on TV and thought I’d try to read the series too.
Ugh updates and bloggy problems in general. No fun. And dreaming a solution? That’s kinda cool actually. How do I get that lol?

I seem to dream what I’m worried about before going to sleep. LOL In this case, it was a good thing!
Blogger has its weird turns like that as well and it drives me nuts when it happens. Computers are meant to make your life easier, not more difficult…! At some point I plan to take a look at the izombie TV series.
Yep. Less paperwork and less trouble. Right! LOL

I always bite my nails in anticipation when major updates happen. I once updated my theme and I basically had to do it all over again. UGH! I’m glad you got it figured out.

It’s so annoying when an update messes things up – I wish companies would realise that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! I’m forever having problems after updates. I’m glad you got sorted out though. I haven’t heard of the books you got this week but it looks like a fab haul, I hope you enjoy reading them all.
I hate when things disappear, like the color and strikethrough options from the “old” WordPress kitchen. Have to go to the improved version to have them up in the dashboard. I think I might agree with your statement on the powers that be! How rude! That’s so interesting about your dreams!
