This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.
I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Some chit chat.
Last week I shared about being locked out of my email provider and having to start over with a new one. Having lots my contact folders, I want to share that you can find my new one on my About Me page link at the top of my blog. I’m slowly but surely refollowing and reconnecting with everyone. Please contact me at my new email address if you’re trying to email me and not getting a response..
For everyone who suggested names for my plant, thanks so much! I’m sharing new photos and the winner’s choice today!
Here’s my philodendron from two weeks ago. And it now has a name. The winner is Flora. Jenea suggested it.
Here is Flora today.
Growing like crazy, isn’t she!
And two sure signs of spring on the Gulf Coast. My pecan tree is sprouting green buds.
You won’t believe how quickly they grow into lovely green leaves. I’ll share more with you next week.
And the first Lovebug sighting. These two are going at it on my front door. LOL
They are surprisingly strong. They swarm on the car and even going 55 to 60 mph some still manage to hold on.
Have a fabulous Sunday!

My new books this week.
A big old ZERO!
I guess having to deal with the email issue kept me off the book sites and saved me some pennies. I do worry about what I might have missed though. LOL

Looks like Flora’s on the move! Yay for spring!! And yup the bugs coming out are a sure sign of spring lol.
The Mermaid’s Revenge- yikes!! :):)
I know! She;s growing so fast. And those lovebugs are a menace. They’ll eat the paint off your car!LOL And who doesn’t love an evil mermaid:)
Flora is a great name for your “floral” friend.
Enjoy your reading…I’m curious about Holes in the Ground.
Have a great week!
It is and I think she likes it too. LOL Holes In The Ground was good old horror. Lots of mayhem.
Flora looks awesome – I love following her evolution on your blog. The Art & Craft of Murder sounds like so much fun! And Ghosts in the Graveyard looks amazing! Enjoy all of your books!
And I’m sure having fun sharing about the spring growth! I had a good week for finding some freebies to share:)
Awwwww, Flora is a great name! Really fits her nicely. 🙂
I’m sorry about all the email troubles you were having! That must have been a pain in the butt. Hopefully your week will be a little less chaotic! 🙂
It was such a mess. And I know I may never recover some contacts I lost. That’s where Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter and Amazon come in. So many ways to find authors I lost contact with! In time, I’m sure I’ll get most everything back in order.
Flora! That is so the best name. Now I wish I had thought of it! Enjoy your week 🙂
All of you gave me some good ones to use for my other plants! LOL
Your plant is lovely! I’m not typically a plant person, as I don’t think I’d manage to keep it alive! And sometimes not having a book haul can be a good thing, as it gives you the chance to catch up with all your other books!
Since moving here I’ve now got a thing for plants. All of these tropical ones are so lovely and fun to learn about:) I did get one book Saturday but will add it to next weeks post. Since nothing much came this week, I’m kind of scared for what happens in the mail this week. LOL
I am glad you are getting things back from your email hassle, did you get my email with Hope’s email for Tantor? I never heard back from you so wasn’t sure if you got it and I tried facebooking you but I don’t think you get on there much…lol.
If you didn’t get it let me know!
Stormi
Week in Review
Yes, I heard from Hope. Sorry Stormi. Meant to let you know. Yeah, Facebook has been suffering from lack of attention. LOL
Meanwhile, in Ohio, it snowed. I actually had a snow day on Wednesday! Crazy! Glad Flora is doing well!
I have family in Michigan and saw what dumped on ya’ll. I’ll try to send some southern gulf stream wind your way! And Flora is thriving:)
Yay! Flora is looking good! It the lovebugs not so much, don’t miss those at all. Lol Hopefully our weather here will even out and our mint plants and my poor roses will come back. Have a great Sunday.
Congrats! Your name won! And she seemed happy when I called her Flora. LOL I’m having such fun sharing about my plants. Got some more to share when they start doing their thing and I’m going to name them too. Spending this weekend pulling briars.
Flora is growing like a weed! I’ve spotted our first Junebugs.
Junebius! I love how they look but they creep me out. Get stuck in your hair. Yikes! LOL Had them when I lived up north. We have them down here but they are smaller.
All these awesome freebies. I love it! Thanks for that. Love your plant and it’s growing good. I hate those darn bugs, I have them too. YIKES! Happy reading this week.
Mary my #SundayRoundup
I have fun searching for the freebies and trying to find something for everybody! I try hard not to grab all of them myself. LOL I used to have a white SUV and they swarmed my vehicle. I have a dark one now and not so bad. Plus it hides those black spots when they hit the front of the car. LOL
I went on a JA Konrath reading spree last year. Very readable thrillers. I can’t remember if I read Holes in the Ground for some reason. Your nature is sprouting very nicely. Even the Lovebug. LOL! I’ve never seen one before. Have a great week!
I’ve read a bunch of his books and always on the lookout for one I missed. Everything is growing in leaps and bounds here now. Spring at last!
Your plants are really gorgeous! And thank you for the freebies. I hope that you’ll get all your contacts back soon. Have a great week !
I love watching everything grow! And I enjoy browsing for the freebies to share:) I’m slowly reconnecting with everyone. I hope I do miss anyone:)
What a bummer getting locked out of your email! I can’t imagine the hassle. That’s quite a lot of freebies, hope you enjoy all of them! 🙂
Yeah, its a mess but I’m making progress on finding everyone again. I did good and didn’t grab any of the freebies. I was tempted though. LOL
Hexes and Ohs sounds fun. I love the quirky play on words. 🙂
Glad you’re slowly pulling everything back together again after the email kerfuffle.
Have a good week!
I love quirky titles too:) And thanks, I’m getting there on finding everyone again:)
Flora is a perfect name for a plant! You can always tell it’s spring when the wildlife is having public sexy time. 🙂 Have a great week!
I think she likes her name! LOL Those lovebugs are insane!
Flora is a perfect name and you know, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen any lovebugs before. I was able to still grab Ghosts in the Graveyard for free so thanks for sharing it!
It is a good name for a plant. And you rarely see a lovebug by itself, hence the name I guess. LOL Ghosts In The Graveyard sounds and looks fun.
I love that fresh light green of new leaves on plants. Such a cool color! Starting all over with a new email can be a pain, I agree. Enjoy your freebies.
Me too. And I like to watch how quickly the rolled leaves open up!
Oooh! Lots of great books you got here and your plants look lovely!
Here’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays
It sure was a good book week and my plant has already grown since this picture:)
Yay for Flora! I picked up Ghosts in the Graveyard. I love the cover and it sounds fun. Thanks for the heads up! 😀
Have a fabulous week. 🙂
Such a great name for her! And happy reading:)
Oh no, that’s terrible that you got locked out of your email and had to start over! That has to be a major pain :-/ But your plant looks so pretty! Oh no NOT LOVEBUGS. For two years of college I lived in a lovebug area. They’re just the worst, man.
Yep. It’s a pain but I’m working on it. Flora is flourishing:) And tis the season of the bug. LOL
Bugs yeuch! I hate bugs!
They aren’t my favorite critter either. LOL
What a pain with the email issues.
And lovebugs… well familiar with those. All over the car. Ugh.
I learned my lesson and now have more than one email address! And the lovebugs are a pain. They are sure bad for the paint on your car and get into everything. I found a couple in my fridge! LOL
Your like me with freebies…I can’t resist. We have many of the same ones, plus I see a couple there that I didn’t get. Yuck…hate any kind of bugs. Have a great week!
I do enjoy browsing for the freebies. A lot of good ones this week. I;m not crazy about bugs. I do have geckos and other critters that sure like to eat them.
That stinks about the email issue. Glad it is settled. Love the name of your plant!!! Have great week!
Yeah, it does. But I’m getting back to normal. Just taking a lot of time to find everyone again. Flora seems to like her name!
Ya know I had to pick up the mermaid and dragon book. Glad you got your email straightened out. Sometimes starting with a fresh slate can be a good thing.
sherry @ fundinmental
Yep. I knew it! LOL The email issue was a pain but I’m getting there. It doesn’t take long to go through my emails right now. LOL
I love that you name your plants, too! Some of my friends/family look at me like I’m weird when they realize I name my plants. My parents came out for a visit and I told them they’d be sharing a room with ZZ Top. They thought I had some weird new obsession with the band, but learned upon arrival that ZZ Top is the name of my Zamioculcas Zamiifolia plant. LoL
I never used to but Jenea put the idea in my head. LOL ZZ Top. I love it!
Hope Flora grows and grows!
Love bugs are gross. LOL. We had a bunch stain our car grill because we drove through them. Blegh.
Hope you have a great week!
You just wait. She’s going to be huge! I have a dark SUV now so it doen’t show the lovebugs as much. Still have to get them off so they don’t eat the paint.
Flora is a great name for a plant. Love it! Ahhh, the memories of the love bugs from when I lived in FL. I remember the first time I saw those (and palmetto bugs!!!). I was completely dumbfounded.
I love the name. It was fun to get all of the suggestions for my plant:) And the bugs are just beginning. Got a feeling they will be out in force in the next few days. The palmetto bugs. Pretty name for a giant man eating cockroach. LOL
omg those bugs! nasty little things! did they come from a dystopian world??? LOL I love the name Flora! Look at her so big and strong!. She could eat those bugs! 🙂
Or from another planet. They are such a pain! LOL It would be great if Flora ate them. I do have lots of geckos, lizards and skanks that will eat them though.
Flora is lovely and I can’t believe how much you’ve got budding out. We’re just a bit behind you but I’m loving the signs of spring. Yay for no new books! Last week was slow and I’m hoping this week won’t get any new ones. My shelves need a break. Have a great week!
I’m just so glad that spring has finally got here. What a long weird winter it was. LOL
Sorry about your email woes—how frustrating!!
