This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.
Iโm also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Some chit chat.
Another week has flown by! And spring is here at last!
Here’s last weeks picture of Flora.
And here she is today.
Underneath the larger leaves are a bunch of new tender leaves soon to pop through.
Last week I shared a picture of my pecan tree as the first buds appeared.
And look at the leaves now!
And I have some new banana trees growing!
After I got done trimming back some dead leaves I found some that were several feet tall hiding behind the mature trees. I’ll share those next week.
It’s been quiet on the home front. I’ve been reading some good books. And I started a binge watch of The Santa Clarita Diet. Have you seen the show? What a hoot! LOL
Have a fabulous Easter Sunday!

Looks like stuff’s growing and budding out nicely! Send some spring this way, okay? We’re still unusually cool here. Hopefully soon we’ll get spring as well ha ha…
Love that cover of Romanov! And The Alpha Plague looks cool too…
Everything is growing so fast and I love the smell of green! Romanov was a fun one and The Alpha Plague is a favorite genre of mine.
Everything seems to growing at a 100 miles an hour in your garden – I’m betting the weeds do too… It is still cool and wet here – though so far today no rain. Not the weather to want to spend much time outdoors either. I hope you have a great weekend, Laura:)
It is so exciting to watch everything grow:) I’m so used to tropical climates that I forget others are still experiencing winter..Thanks, Sarah:)
Flora is looking great! Everything is growing so nicely. We got cold again here. ๐ I am glad I haven’t decided to plant any veggies yet as I fear that might have died as it could snow today!
Enjoy your new reads and have a great week!
Happy Easter!
Stormi
Week in Review
We had one brief cold blast and I was worried, but Flora came through it just fine! Have a lovely Sunday, Stormi:)
I’ve been getting trailers for the Santa Clarita Diet on my Netflix. I definitely need to give it a watch!
It’s zany fun and the episode are short so it moves quickly:)
The plants are looking great!! Enjoy your books!
Indeed they are. Just happy being green:)
wow I love the title of that freebie series “The Little Things That Kill”! MUST READ! Never heard of the Santa Clarita Diet! good luck with it! Happy Easter !
Yeah, that tag caught my too. The Santa Clarita Diet caught me by surprise. I didn’t know it was about zombies. LOL
Flora is doing well! Enjoy your books…and I’m curious about The Summer of New Beginnings. Thanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your week.
She is thriving and growing by the day!. I adore Bette’s books and that was the first book in her new series.
Flora is growing so good now! You got some really good books this week, and I certainly curious about Romanov. Must check it out. Are you liking The Santa Carita Diet so far, I have seen the preview for it, but wasnโt sure about it? Have a great Sunday.
It was a good week in books for sure and Flora is, well, flourishing. LOL I liked the show. It’s funny.
Wow banana trees and Flora is growing even bigger so it’s been a great week for plants. Lots of great books this week. I hope you enjoy them all.
Mary my #SundayRoundup #12!
It was an all around good week!
I am so ready for spring. It has been mostly cold here still, so no new growth yet. I’m ready for flowers and leaves on trees. Happy reading!
Everything is growing and blooming. The only drawback is all the pollen. LOL
Flora is looking great. I can’t figure out why I haven’t read the Ruggle books yet – I mean, come on, dogs! It’s a chilly, damp Easter here – I really think Spring missed the memo!
Flora is happy! I know you’d like Katie’s series. The dogs have their own parts to play in the books.
Flora looks very healthy. Have a great week and enjoy your new books. Happy Easter!
Yes, she’s healthy and thriving:) Happy Easter:)
Flora is doing so well! I think all the plant life by me is so confused. Today, it’s in the 60s, but apparently, a snow storm is on it way. Talk about buzz kill. Hope you have a great week!
We had one cold spell blow through but Flora took it just fine:) It’s been a weird winter and so glad spring is finally here.
I am ready to start seeing some signs of spring around here. We have rain so I guess that is a start. I really liked Survive the Night and hope you do as well. Have a great week and enjoy all of your new books!
Spring is finally here and I say about time! What a strange winter it was. I enjoyed Katie’s first two books in the series and looking forward to this one too:)
I’m going have to check out those freebies. Flora looks great and so does the pecan tree. I almost got a plant yesterday from my job since they were free. I hope you have a great week!
There were some good freebies this week! My outdoor plants are doing great. I need to get some for inside.
BA-NAN-A! And Flora in all her glory. I need to start my herb pots. ๐ฑ
I love the cover of The Art of Fear.
Happy to hear you have solid spring weather. I am still waiting. Ha ha. Have a wonderful week. โบ
Yes, bananas! I was surprised when I cut back the dead leaves and found some new ones hiding. They are about 3 feet already. I’ll share them next week. I’m really having fun sharing about my plants and trees.
I love the cover for The Art Of Fear too!
Your garden is growing in so nicely! It’s going to like great ๐
LOL yes,we watched Season 1 of the Santa Clara diet – season 2 wasn’t out yet when we watched it. Pretty funny stuff.
Have a great week!
I have much more to share as they begin their spring growth. I love this time of year! Season 2 is out now and it’s just as fun:)
I miss the lovely green like that! We still had snow last week. Hope we can see some spring soon ๐ have a lovely week!
My mom is getting snow today! I feel so fortunate to live in a tropical climate! I hope spring arrives for you soon:)
Didn’t do a Sunday post this week. Time got away from me. lol
sherry @ fundinmental
I thought you might be in Vegas? Can’t remember when you are going.
Wow! Flora is really growing. So bright and green. I am wanting to warm weather so I can get outside and plant my hanging baskets and trim back my plants, but we have had lots of cold temps and rain. Hereโs hoping!
She sure is. And there’s a whole bunch more leaves hidden under the large ones that will pop up soon. My bananas are growing and my sega palms should start soon also.
Flora is growing in leaps and bounds! And wow you’ve got a lot of things really starting to grow and bloom! Katie Ruggle is an author that’s really been calling to me lately. I hope you enjoy the books and have a great week!
It’s just so green everywhere! I’m really enjoying Katie’s books. I’m listening to the audibles and enjoying them immensely:)
You know, yesterday it was nearly 60 degrees and then last night it went and snowed nearly 4″. And even better it’s supposed to be 70 tomorrow! ๐
We had some weather like that. No snow, but bitter cold and then warm. Such a weird season.
I really do need to find my reading mojo again and read something! I’ve only read two books in the last few weeks!
