Some chit chat.

Christmas is upon us and all is ready at my house. I’m off of work for the holidays and plan to spend it doing those things I love. Spending time with family, eating yummy food, reading a bunch of books and watching the telly.

I’ve become hooked on the show, Lucifer. Cracks me up. Such a smexy devil is he. And I watched Bird Box. Holy cow! Have you seen it yet. Such a fabulous cast. My son and I watched it in the dark with the surround sound cranked up. By the end of the movie we were standing up. So intense we couldn’t watch it sitting down. Congrats to Josh Malerman and Netflix!

So, I’m keeping it short. I hope you all have a lovely holiday and Santa brings you some goodies.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Hope it’s awesome and filled with everything you love. I did just watch Bird Box and it was very intense- and very good!

  3. Merry Christmas Laura! I hope you’ll have a peaceful and joyous holiday, with all the books, and some fantastic times with your family and loved ones 🙂

  4. Blood River has such a striking cover but I’m unsure if it might be too much police investigation for me. I love the cover for Bane County and that is going on wishlist!

  5. Sounds like you will have a wonderful holiday! Good luck.

  6. Bird Box has truly been trending it seems! I’ve seen it all over Twitter lately. Too bad I’m too much of a wuss 😀
    Have wonderful holidays, Laura!

  7. I’m looking forward to starting Lucifer! It’s available on Amazon Prime TV in the UK so it’s going on my watch list for next year. 🙂

I’d love to hear what you think of the movie. I was caught by surprise. Such a great cast and it kept me glued. Merry Christmas, Priscilla:)

      • It took me awhile to digest the movie. I think I liked it. The ending was not like I expected; maybe that’s what is throwing me. The best scene: the driving scene. “That was just a speed bump.” Ewww! Yes, great cast. Even the little kids were great.

      • fuonlyknew says:

LOL I saw that scene coming and so did my son. We had to laugh. When a movie has me standing up from suspense, it’s a winner in my book. The trip on the river was nail biting.

  9. feeroberts64 says:

The Needle House, now, that’s an intriguing title. Merry Christmas, Laura XX

  10. vvb32 says:

I hope you have a fantastic Christmas, Laura! It sounds like you have an excellent plan in place for the holiday 🙂 I watched Bird Box with my daughter yesterday. I didn’t like the book when I read it years ago. I thought that the movie was better and the cast was impressive.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thank you, Carole. The Bird Box got me going. Its been a while since a movie had me pacing because I couldn’t just sit and wait to see what was going to happen.

  12. kozbisa says:

The last episode was so weird. I’d like to know what you make of it. I did love Bird Box. I have the book and now I”ve got it on the stack to read soon. Very curious how close the movie was to the story. It sure had some tense moments!
