Some chit chat.
The weather was so nice this week. Warm and… warm. LOL It did take a dip back to cold on Friday. But Saturday I got up to sunny skies and it warmed up quite nicely around lunch time. Supposed to stay high sixties to seventy all next week. Spring is in the air and I can’t wait!
Nothing much else to report. So I’ll just say……..
Have a lovely Sunday.

It was sunny here too today but not quite 70’s haha! Glad it’s been warm there.
I love that cover of Isle of Savages!
Gloomy but warm today so I got some yard work done. Now it is time to put my feet hope and read one of these books. LOL
Oh man, Broken Doll looks super creepy! Enjoy your books! 🙂
The covers for the other books in the series are creeptastic too!
Lucky you with spring in the air!! I can’t wait for that to happen here, too. Even if our winter has been rather nice – I’m just sick of the darkness, I think.
Your new books look great! Especially Murder Between the Pages – I love the cover!
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
That’s one thing I crave. Sunshine. Helps chase away those winter blues! I do have some fun books to pass the time though:)
It’s warmer here too! But not yet time for spring I don’t think. Spring comes in April and May xD we still have snow, but at least it’s not freezing.
Have a great week, Laura!
Spring comes earlier here but I know we will get some more cold before it finally arrives and stays:)
Enjoy your new book haul! Our winter has been cold as I expected it to be but not really bad so far. Just one day of snow so far and not many nights of high winds which is a relief!
The winds are the wrist. Drops those cold temps into the freezing zone! LOL Just had one of those days Friday. Not fun at work that day!
Glad you had a lovely week!
Here’s my Sunday Post!

Thanks. I hope this week is a good one too.
Gosh! Do you really get proper Spring breaking out in February, or is this warm spell of yours just a freaky forerunner? We have at least another 4 weeks of winter temperatures before we can realistically look forward to the weather properly warming up… Have a great week, Laura:)
It’s pretty normal. We will get some more cold weather but spring is getting close:)
I grabbed some of those freebies. Thanks for sharing those. I love those three covers you posted at the bottom. Have a great week.
Melanie @ Hot Listens & Books of My Heart
I’m glad you found some to enjoy. I try to find a little bit from several genres for everyone to check out:)
It was painful, but I hurriedly scrolled past the freebies because my TBR pile is BIG ENOUGH for now!
I restrained from grabbing all of those freebies. It’s fun to browse for and share them:)
Well Laura uneventful weeks are great. Maybe it’s the calm before the storm? Good storm I mean! Anyway enjoy the bliss 😉
I’ll take a good storm. LOL
We had some really awesome 60 degrees days and now it’s like 30 for the next week. We are suppose to get some snow but I just want spring. I am so tired of this crazy winter.
I hope you have a great week, Laura! Happy Reading!
I can’t wait for it to stay warm. LOL This up and down temps is getting on my nerves. LOL
You’re so lucky your weather is warming up! It’s still cold here and I’m sort of over it😁
I’m sure we will still get some cold spells but we get spring early here.
We’ve had a nice weather week, but it’s going to change now as the temps drop here. Well, it’s still winter 🙂 Love the books you got. I have a few of them, too. Have a great week!
It’s supposed to stay on the warm side this week. Can’t wait until I can enjoy a good book while sitting outside:)
Murder Between the Pages is tempting me. Enjoy your books, and thanks for sharing. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I’ll be sharing my review for Murder Between The Pages. I love the light and /or cozy mysteries:)
Glad you had nice weather. It was warm here most of the week. Until Friday anyway!
It got really windy and cold here Friday. Now it is warming up again. Can’t wait until it stays that way:)
It’s posts like this that make me miss FL winters. I heard we might get some white stuff, but I am hoping we dodge this storm like we have all the others.
I do love living in the south. The only time I miss snow is at Christmas:)
Murder Between The Pages sounds so interesting! I’ll have to check it out. The weather is up and down here too! In the morning, I have to open the front door to see what kind of weather we are having.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
Tina @ As Told By Tina
I actually turned on the AC today. It’s muggy and warm. Not complaining one tiny bit. LOL
So many lovely books.
It was warm here this past week also, cold this weekend and then rainy 60s this upcoming week. I hope it’s nicer where you are.
It is nicer. Rainy, but warm!
Glad you’re staying warm. It’s cold over here. I was wearing a hat and scarf at work Friday… I work indoors by the door! Tomorrow looks like another hat day, at least.
It’s warm and rainy right now. I’ll take it over cold any day:)
We are almost near spring and I don’t want the winter to leave already. Maybe it has somehting to do with the fact that the spring here is very short and the summer will be here in no time. Anyway, enjoy your warmer climate.
Spring is short here too. Then it is blistering heat and tons of humidity. I love it. LOL
I’m so envious of the warmer temperatures! We’ve had freezing and we’ve had cold & very wet. 🙁
I feel fortunate to live where I do:)
We had cold, warmth and then topped it off with snow yesterday. I swear, this weather needs medication! Looks like you grabbed some more good books this week and I managed to snag some of the same freebies. Just popped over and read your review of Night Shift. Seems like I enjoyed it somewhat a tad more but glad it wasn’t a total loss for you.
Night Shift sounded perfect for me. I wish it had been. Not bad, but not a great read for me. I’m sitting here in shorts and t-shirt. Muggy and warm, with some rain of course. LOL
I grabbed a couple of the freebies. Lovin’ the weather and have been messing around outside. Yes, I agree, spring is in the air and I am ready for it.
sherry @ fundinmental
I plan on spending more time with you guys this summer. Been missing the summer fun together!
I thoroughly enjoyed that day in the 70s but have not been loving that plunge back to cold! You got a lot of fun looking books! I hope you enjoy them all!
We had the one cold day and now it’s rainy and warm. I don’t even mind the rain right now. LOL
It got a little warm here and then went back down. Today it’s snow and ice. I hope you have a great week and I think I will have to pick up Grave Girl.
Mary
Sorry about the turn in the weather. It’s warm and raining here. I long for spring!
I can’t wait to see what you think about Night Shift!!

It was an interesting read. Different. And I love the setting for the story.
