I managed to squeeze in that nap I wanted. And I also got a lot done this week. Cleaned house from top to bottom and did some much needed yard work. I also spent some time in the pool almost every day. Either before or after work. It really helped with my aches and pains from work. I feel so good!
Stay safe and take care everyone.

Glad it was a good week! The pool sounds fantastic. 🙂 It’s amazing how refreshing getting in the water can be!
Hope your weekend is going well!
glad you got the pool. I got some pleasure this week, by ordering chipotle curbside and love love love that salsa! this is the first visit to your blog. love the black and white graphics @theglobaldig.blogspot.com
Hi Trin. Thanks for coming by!
I love the feel of swimming!
Glad you got in that nap! And I’m impressed you got your house clean. I’m doing bits and pieces but am not feeling seriously motivated for the whole cleaning thing. Hope you have a great week and enjoy your books!
I’ve needed to do a good cleaning for a while. Haven’t felt motivated myself but I couldn’t stand it any longer. LOL
I am happy that the pool helped Laura! God how I miss swimming!! Two months now and no end in sight. For someone who was in a pool three times a week since she was 2, that’s long! I’ll enjoy it vicariously through you so you MUST mention the pool every Sunday to have me live it LOL
I love coming home from work and going right out to the pool!
Isn’t swimming wonderful? Sadly, the city pool here can’t open this summer because of the coronavirus. Thanks as always for all the freebie links!
I probably wouldn’t go outside if I didn’t have the pool. LOL
I am so glad you feel such a lot better and more energised! I’m guessing the fact that the weather is warm enough to be able to use the pool every day must be helping:). We are now having cold cloudy weather – not great when you cannot meet up indoors with your nearest and dearest… Have another great week, Laura:)
I love that the water is still a bit cool. It gets warm like a cuppa tea in the summer.
Yay for pools! I wish I had one, it seems like it would be a great way to get some exercise too😁 Have a good week, Laura!
I love floating in the pool and listening to the seagulls. So relaxing:)
Pool? I’m a little jealous. The weather here can’t decide between a kind of post-winter ugh and a not-quite summer thing. Have a good week!
My Sunday Post: http://kitnkabookle.blogspot.com/2020/05/the-sunday-post_17.html
I couldn’t wait for swimming weather!
That’s a cool mix of covers!
Don’t they look pretty!
It’s great that you get so much use out of your pool. Hope you can squeeze in even more time.
It’s one of the great parts of my day:)
Glad you got your nap!
I do love my little naps:)
Hanging out by the pool sounds amazing. Especially because things are really starting to warm up now!
Happy reading!
It’s definitely warming up:)
A nap is always a good thing 🙂 I need to get busy and get my house in order. My husband has been working on the pool and should have it open soon. I hope you have a great week!
It was a relief to finally get the house clean. Now I feel no guilt when going out to get in the pool. LOL
I am so happy you got pool time and feel good. It feels mentally good to get things like house work and yard work finished up, too. This week was near 90 and the next 5 days will be raining so not the best time for my yard.
I hope you have a great week and stay well.
Exactly! It does feel good to get things done that have been weighing me down. It’s going to rain here this week too and we sure need it.
I’m glad you’ve been getting that nap. I should do that more often too.
Enjoy your books. Stay safe and happy reading.
Short naps are wonderful:)
Some pool time sounds divine! Glad you had such a good week. I hope you have a equally good one ahead!
It was glorious to get in some swimming!
I’m glad you are feeling well!
Wishing you a great reading week
Thanks! I’m feeling great right now:)
Naps are the best!! It sounds like you had a perfectly productive week.
It feels good to get things done:)
You’re much more energetic than me 😉
I found some energy. Not sure how long that will last. LOL
thanks for sharing and glad to hear you are rested and well
sherry @ fundinmental
It was a good week:)
Glad you got in some much needed rest! Have a safe and happy week!
It sure feels good:)
I could do with a nice soak in your pool right now! You deserve it after all your hard work each week. In our near future I see work in the garden, an overhaul of the house and very tired muscles…ugh!
The Art of Fear looks great. I’m glad you have a great way to relax. We all need it now don’t we?
Laura, you inspire me so much! I can’t believe that you have so much energy!! Stay well! 🙂
Glad to hear you got some down time and are enjoying your pool!
