This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.
I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.
It sure is starting to feel like Christmas. We had the temps dip to freezing and the grass is more brown than green right now. I’ve got almost all of my decorating done, finally! The outside looks so pretty and bright when I pull in at night. And the freshly polished tile floor reflects the Christmas tree so beautifully.
I’ve been watching some fun holiday movies and reading a few Christmas cozies. Next up are some scary ones. Evil reindeer, Santa’s and elves…….oh my!
Stay safe and have a lovely Sunday!

Oh my gosh, that’s a lot of new books, Laura! I hope you’ll enjoy them all.
We have decorated the house for Christmas, too, usually we do this much later in December, but we needed lights and hope more than ever this year. We don’t have a tree yet, as we want a potted one we can keep for next year and haven’t found one yet.
It’s been a lot cooler here, too, we even got snow on Friday. It didn’t stick, but the grass is frozen in the morning.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading 🙂
Not even sure how many below freezing nights/early mornings we have had up here. The holiday decorations are definitely cheery. Glad to hear you are enjoying them.
I love watching the Christmas lights around my area. And I can’t wait for the holidays. Stay safe!
The temperatures have finally decided to go wintery here too, the leaves have fallen off the trees and there are lots of brown around, so a good time to put on some sparkling decorations ! I don’t know if people have been decorating outside their houses because we’re still on lockdown, so I’ll check later. Enjoy your book haul 🙂
Yes… it’s got chillier here, too, with some frosts. But I’m not complaining about the weather – the grass is still growing here!! We haven’t got our decorations up, yet. I’m hoping we can do it with the grandchildren next Sunday:)). Have a lovely week, Laura!
I watched a German Christmas horror movie yesterday. It was weird watching a horror Christmas movie when you can’t understand the words! I am reading Stranger Danger too. It’s typical Michaelbrent Collings’ brutality and good people all mixed up in one pot, fun read!
Your decorations sound lovely! I am way behind and can’t start until my husband gets all the boxes out of the garage. Sigh.
I don’t normally watch Christmas Movies, but there was a new Minion Christmas short that I watched and I might watch a few Christmas episodes of favorite TV shows today.
Thank you, Laura – I hope you stay safe and have had a lovely Sunday, too. Festive viewing and cosy reads sounds wonderful. I really must read something cosy next, however I have started on my festive viewing: having watching The Christmas Chronicles and The Holiday. 🎄
Here’s what else I’ve been up to: https://thebookwormchronicles.wordpress.com/2020/12/06/%f0%9f%99%8f-sunday-reflection-6th-december-2020/ 🙂
I think this year it’s even more important to decorate and have lights! Kind of cheering us amidst this hard year. I hope you are still healthy Laura and …take care my friend!
I want to watch Hallmark Christmas movies but haven’t had a chance. The Christmas mysteries and romances I read were in October because of reviews. LOL I need to read some that are on my TBR for a change 🙂
Hope you have a great book.
I love seeing all the lights at night! Glad your decorating is all done. We’re almost there, just finishing up our tree!
Christmas cozies sound fun.
I did some HoHoHoRAT reads and our neighborhood is over the top with decorating and with the frost at night it is getting there. I haven’t really started. We will do more once my daughter finishes her classes. Have a good week, stay safe and well.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
You’ll have to share your holiday lights with us!
Wishing you a great reading week
The weather is so up and down. Really cold then 60s! 🙂 Enjoy your decorations!
Look at all the Christmas goodies! I hope you enjoy them. I love the lights this time of year – I want to take Dante for a drive through some lights, but I’m not sure he’d notice them really yet. Have a great week!!
Evil reindeer! I am oddly intrigued to know more!! I hope that you enjoy your week!
Stay safe out there! I’ll be enjoying the darts and a few favourite films!
