This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.
I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.
President Biden is now officially in office. I’m not much to talk politics so I’ll just say I’m hopeful about the changes coming our way.
One of the things I mentioned I was going to do this new year is get back to posting reviews and visiting and commenting like I used to. As for the reviews. I actually have a bunch written ahead like I used to and they will be coming your way soon. And I’ve been finding time to visit your blogs. Maybe not every day yet, but at least several times a week. I sure did miss that.
And I’m really enjoying the warm up we are having here. It’s been 60s to 70 and even though some of the days are cloudy, it feels more like a normal winter and I even spy some green grass growing! I sure am excited for spring and summer and have plans that I hope I can keep. I’m even trying to figure out when to take another vacation. Not going to wait until later in the year this time. Hurricane Sally left me sitting in the dark for my last vacation. I still have lots of work needs doing to make things remotely like they used to look. One step at a time. Right?
Stay safe and have a great new week!

Your weather sounds great. It’s not too bad here (for winter) but I’d sure like some warm temps! I hope you get to take a vacation this year as well.
I liked Cabin 10. Mysteries on boats always appeal to me. 🙂
I’m enjoying the warmer temps while they last!
I am jealous of your winter weather. The wind is roaring outside and in the teens with the wind chill factor. Glad I have nowhere to go. Enjoy your lovely weather, and I hope you have a great week.
e’ve had some very cold temps this winter and I’m sure not missing that!
i see you have michael’s book. cant wait to see what you think. I love legion! yeah for the warm weather.
I’m rereading his first book before I start Stranger Still!
Thats fun that you’re making plans for summer. That’s something I really miss, making plans! Hope you have a good week😁
My plans are to stay home and enjoy myself and the pool:) Just need to figure out when. LOL
Oh my goodness – those temperatures sound wonderful! We are in the middle of a cold snap right now and yesterday the temperature didn’t get much above 41. As it stayed dry, we did go to the beach with the children, but it was perishing!!!
I almost need to turn on the AC!
I’m wanting to read The Woman in Cabin 10. I enjoyed Ware’s The Turn of the Key. Hope you enjoy it!!
We’ve been having the same type of temps as you and I’ve been loving it. It feels so nice to walk. I’ll enjoy it until the humidity arrives.
I picked up some of the same freebies. They all look so good.
I hope you have a great week!
yes I think you just have to work towards things gradually. That’s the best way. I love Ruth Ware and you got the freebie Dogmother book. Your weather sounds perfect. It’s colder here but not really cold. Stay well!

One step at a time indeed! Have a great week Laura!
I am so glad that the inauguration went off without any problems and the change in command is over. I hope that we can now focus on moving forward. It looks like you added a lot of great reads this week. Happy reading!
I don’t have as high of hopes for the coming years as you, but I hope your right. I can’t wait for you to be able to review again! 🙂 Enjoy all those very cool books!
Have a great week,
Stormi
I would love some 60/70ºF weather! Ugh, it’s been cold here lately.
I can’t remember the last time I actually wrote a book review. It’s been a bit shocking that I got so far behind on stuff like this but life has been busy and a bit too stressful in the last six months! Hopefully I’ll get back in the routine at some point.
