Some chit chat.
Things are really getting busy and I’m getting excited for the holidays. Got about half of my decorating done and plan to finish it by tomorrow. I love all of the pretty things I’ve done and all the colors. I polished the tile floors so the lights reflect off it and it’s so cozy. I want to just stay home, blinds drawn and hibernate. LOL

I was shocked when I realized I’d not gotten any new reads. I think it was because I’ve been binge watching Game Of Thrones again. Just got Season Eight and can’t wait to finally see how it all ends.

I do like all the lights and the tree all lit up at night lol- it is very relaxing. I’m getting pretty excited for the holidays also. 🙂

I got my season eight today and I’m ready to watch all the extras! I love the BluRay coz there is even more stuff on it! I hope you like the last season. I did and so did my dad but we seem to be in the minority!
I got the special edition so I could get all of the extras too!
I chuckled at the shiny tile to reflect your lights…lol. Sounds like you are very festive. Good job on no new reads I know that doesn’t happen often!

It did feel good to not grab a bunch of new books. I have so many to catch up on already!
I’m always tempted to re-watch Game of Thrones, but I know if I start, I won’t get anything else done. Good luck with your decorating. Have a great week!

Congrats on finishing up your decorating! I’m way behind, Christmas just seems to be coming so fast, lol.
It’s only two weeks away! Yikes!
We have done pretty much no decorating yet. AT ALL. But if you look at my Sunday post you will see I did got an overwhelming amount of books. I do have all but one post read to go for this week and can now read books for the following week – yay. I hate it when I am reading books for the current week.
I hope even with being busy you do get some time to yourself to admire that decorating and read a few books!

Yes – we’ve now got our Season 8, too. I haven’t yet started my Christmas decorating – I’m waiting for the grandchildren to help out, which will happen next weekend. Take care and have a great week, Laura.

My husband just put up our outdoor lights today and I love having them back!
I love driving at night and seeing all of the lights people have put up!
I got a lot of decorating done this weekend but the tree will go up next weekend. I really feel 2-3 weeks is long enough for it even if I love it. I think it comes from puppy days when having a tree up is always a battle. I do love the way everything looks though now that so much of it is up. Hope you have a wonderful week.
I love having things all done but it seems like I turn right around and take them down. Time just flies!
I’ve done the bare bones decorating this year. I can’t seem to find the motivation because I know that bratty cats will only tear them all down on me!
I don’t have cats anymore and my dog has no interest so I can decorate with no fear. LOL
i haven’t done a sunday post in a while and it will probably be the new year before i do. no new books…how did you accomplish that? lol
