I love greek mythology. So many fascinating beings and stories.
I just had to read this book and when I spotted the tour, I signed up immediately.

Description

A Character Profile
Zeus:
Zeus is the King of Olympus, and President of the Olympic World Council. Ageless and wise, he has brought about a golden age for mortals and immortals alike. Along with his brothers, Poseidon and Hades, Zeus is one of the most powerful beings in existence, if not the most powerful. He possess a plethora of superhuman abilities, which include immense strength and speed, invincibility, flight, enhanced senses, astral projection, regeneration, telethapy, telekinesis, shape-shifting, mind-control and teleportation. But most notable is his ability to wield lighting. Having defeated the Titans thousands of years ago, Zeus believed that no one would ever become strong enough to challenge his rule. But when a God of Olympus is slain, Zeus and his fellow Olympians must face the most dangerous enemy they’ve ever known: mortality.

I’ve always like Mercury/Hermes
I love medusa! I imagine her as beautiful. So beautiful you can’t resist but to look in her eyes and be frozen solid. Makes me wonder if she has redeemable qualities. I can’t see her being totally good but not so damned.
I like Hestia. I like that she keeps the hearth and home warm. I think it’s interesting that she stepped down when Dionysus became an Olympian.
I like Theia: The mother of sun, moon & dawn. Her names is connected she with the words foresight & prophecy . Very interesting to me.

While I love mythology and have a fascination with all of the mythological beings but I really like Apollo.
Apollo is the God of light, music, arts, knowledge, healing, plague and darkness, prophecy, poetry, purity, athletism, manly beauty, and enlightenment. He is the son of Zeus and Leto, and the twin brother of Artemis. As brother and sister, they were identified with the sun and moon; both use a bow and arrow. In the earliest myths, Apollo contends with his half-brother Hermes. In sculpture, Apollo was depicted as a very handsome, beardless young man with long hair and an ideal physique. As the embodiment of perfectionism, he could be cruel and destructive, and his love affairs were rarely happy. His attributes include the laurel wreath and lyre. He often appears in the company of the Muses. Animals sacred to Apollo include roe deer, swans, cicadas, hawks, ravens, crows, foxes, mice, and snakes.
All of that alone makes Apollo pretty awesome in my book.
