My Teaser
I slammed the truck door behind me. “What a horrible day.”
“I thought every day you got to commit arson was a good day.” Alex stared straight ahead, eyes focused on traffic, but his mouth twitched.
“Go ahead and laugh. You can’t help yourself.”
The twitch turned into that crease at the corner of his mouth, just on the left side, that was about the sexiest thing going.

When he limped out into the street one of the men he’d shot from the hotel porch was crawling toward the curb. Chgurh watched him. Then he shot him in the back.
From “No Country for Old Men” by Cormac McCarthy. I’ve seen the movie a few times, and I just got around to reading the book. I don’t really care for his writing style, but it’s still a pretty good read.
I haven’t read the book but I loved the movie. This tease brings back shuddering memories! LOL

It’s one of my favorite Coen Brothers movies. The acting and casting were spot on. Reading the book makes me want to watch the movie again!

Hi Emily! I won this book in a giveaway. I know it’s third in the series but I plan on getting the others too. I opened it just to peek inside and ended up reading 7 chapters without pause. It’s too late to stop now! I’m having a great time!
