“I saw an e-mail from Paige. What the hell is going on with that cruise? Someone was killed? We need to get them off that ship!”
“Calm down, DeeAnn,” Annie said. She pictured DeeAnn’s face red with worry.
“They are on a ship with a killer,” Dee Ann said. “And guess what? I just saw a weather report that one of those freaky storms is heading for the Mexican coast. Right where they are supposed to be in two days.”

I admit it. I’m a cozy mystery addict. The quirky titles and colorful cover art are irresistable for me.
I received a print copy of this ARC for my review which you can read on October 14th.

A Crafty Christmas
A Cumberland Creek Mystery
by Mollie Cox Bryan
Synopsis
Christmas is just around the corner, and the ladies of the Cumberland Creek Scrapbook Crop are thrilled when Sheila wins the first place prize in a scrapbooking design contest: a ten-day scrapbook-themed cruise in the Caribbean. Vera and Paige decide to tag along, which should pose the perfect opportunity to learn some new techniques, mingle with fellow croppers, and get in some rest and relaxation before the chaos of Christmas. But when Sheila finds a famous crafter dead, and investigators determine she was poisoned, the luxury cruise veers toward disaster as Sheila becomes the number one suspect–or was she really the intended victim? Just as the croppers begin un-wrapping the truth, a storm strands them at sea, and they’ll find it’s harder than ever to survive the holidays with a killer on deck. . .

This is a fun read. You have the people at home and the ones on the cruise to follow. Makes it a fast read. Thanks for stopping by also and enjoy your weekend:)
Sounds like a fun book.
It is and much going on!
You got my attention with this one! What suspense….and that cozy cover….a lovely combination of suspense and coziness. Thanks for sharing. Here’s mine: “MIDNIGHT BETRAYAL”
I know. Everything screamed read me!! Thanks for stopping by and on my way to read yours.
I’m addicted to cozy mysteries as well. This is the best cover so far in this series.
I’ll have to check out the other covers. They always hook me!
I love cozies too. A body on a cruise ship during the holidays really seems good for a read.
Yeah. Nothing like a dead body to get things stirred up. LOL
Just when things couldn’t get worse! Never a dull moment with murder and the mystery in the mix; that’s for sure. Enjoy your adventure!

I’m a cozy lover as well and haven’t come across this series. It sounds fun! I’ll have to add it to my list of ones to look out for!
I do a lot of review tours for Great Escape Tours. Lori gets the best cozies and I have 2 shelves just for that genre. I can’t resist them.
I seriously don’t think I would stay on a cruise ship under those circumstances.
I don’t think I’ll ever go on a cruise! LOL
That excerpt is intense. And yeah, I’m a fan of mysteries too. Gonna ad this book to my to-read list 🙂
Yeah. Another mystery lover. There is quite a bit going on in this one.
I’m relatively new to the cosy mystery genre, but I’m enjoying what I’m reading so far. Maybe you can remind us of this one again in December.
I’ll remind you Emma. I’m getting some Christmas books read and adding to my list. Then I’ll do a post about books of Christmas I’ve read and am reading. Will be fun. Beware, October is coming and I’ve a wicked list or reads for Halloween!
From that snippet I never would have guessed it was a Christmas book. 🙂
Happy weekend!
I know. There’s a lot about Christmas in this though. Kind of gets you in the mood:)
I love cozy mysteries too.
Awesome! I just can’t resist them:)
I don’t think I’ve ever read a cozy mystery, but they sound perfect for a raining day and a crackling fire. Winter, come quick!
You nailed it. They are fun and perfect for curling up by the fire or lying by the pool.
This sounds so good! I love my cozy mysteries!
It is fun! I love them too. Those quirky titles and cute covers. I can’t resist them. LOL
