Some chit chat.
So, the groundhog didn’t see his shadow!!! That means a mild winter and early spring. The weather has been so wishy washy. One day warm, the next freezing. I’m so ready for spring.
In fact, I’ve been browsing on line for a new ladder for my pool and maybe some new patio furniture.
That got me thinking about other things. Like shoes! Or not shoes! I’m huge on barefoot or flip flops. Socks and shoes smother my feet. I can’t even sleep without my piggies sticking out from under the covers. LOL
I was in the store the other day, standing in line to check out, and right beside me was a display of nail polish. I found some really fun colors for the summer and can’t wait to bare my toes to show them off.
How about you? Do you like your toes naked, or do you like them snuggled in socks and shoes?

The weather has been crazy here warm and cold and it’s driving me crazy. I get use to it being warm and then bam it’s like 30 and I am freezing. I am ready for spring too. I don’t do flip flops as I can’t stand having that strap between my toes…lol. I am more of a socks and shoes person. Or if I can find a sandals with no straps in between toes. 🙂

Week in Review
My mom can’t stand the strap between her toes either. Nor can my son. I have some cute sandals too but those flip flops are so easy to slide on and off. LOL
I love going barefoot or flip flops when the weather is right. For now I am snuggled in socks and boots. Can’t wait for warmer weather though. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!
I do love wearing my boots but I wear thin ankle socks inside them. LOL And the minute I get home I yank them off! Flop flop weather is right around the corner:)
I’m all for flip flops and warm weather. I’d wear flip flops year round if I could… and yeah an early spring would be nice.

I have flip flops of all colors and styles. LOL I pack a bunch when I’m traveling. Don’t you love the titles and cover art for cozies. Makes them so hard to resist!
I wear big thick socks…right now, but I can hardly wait to be in flip flops or barefoot! I picked up several books. You know I had to have Caribbean Moon, Stiletto Safari sounds like a hoot and can miss out on some evil at House of Courtenay!

I miss sandals and flip flops! Our temps aren’t too bad right now but I just have a feeling the winter is going to come back soon. You got some fantastic cozies! I really want to try Duffy Brown and I’m looking forward to the new Dawn Eastman. Have a great week!

I REALLY DON’T LIKE SHOES. I blame it on the fact that I grew up doing gymnastics and therefore got really used to always being barefoot. And I live in warm weather. I almost always wear flip-flops when shoes are required. In high school, I wore flats because I could slip them off as soon as I sat down. Even the sneakers I own have hardly anything to them because I hate feeling like I can’t move my feet.
Anyway, enjoy your new books!
Great minds…! LOL My family and friends thing I’m nuts. We have fire ants here and they can’t believe I walk around outside and garden in my bare feet. I do get bit by those nasty ants now and then but don’t see where wearing shoes would make a difference. They’d just bite my legs instead:)

Bwahaha..I have to sleep with one foot out of the covers or I cannot breath. I prefer flip-flops to bare feet, and will wear fuzzy socks or slip on slippers in the winter. It is freaking cold here!!
It’s pretty chilly this morning so I’m wearing fuzzy socks! When I sit down, I yank them off and cover up with a soft throw.
You sound like my sister. She loves Flip-Flop weather, I like it a little colder but I am pretty much OVER the snow and this week is going to be a mess.

I even run around barefoot in the house during the winter. Putting on socks or slippers when my feet get cold, and yanking them back off. LOL
I live at the beach so only really wear sandals or flip-flops (which we call thongs in my part of Qld!)

I prefer bare feet and shorts. Pants are too confining so are winter clothes. I was wondering why you weren’t more worried about this “piggies sticking out from under the covers”. Don’t you know things lurk in the dark, things that want to eat up some little piggies.
LOL Yep, I worry. Probably why I’m always tucking them back under the covers until it drives me crazy and I peek them back out!
I am so over Mother Nature right now. She needs her license taken away.
While I’m a barefoot kind of person, I can’t stand wearing flip flops. But if it gets too chilly in the house I like socks or slippers. I do sleep with at least one whole leg out from under the blankets. I even dangle it off the bed. I’m still here so monsters must be afraid of me. 😀

Have you seen the new Hello Kitty nail polish colors??? I almost bought them last week but I talked myself out of them b/c my toenails weren’t quite ready. I need to get my sander out 😉 But I am all over bright and crazy toenails!!!!

When it is winter and cold, I love wearing socks. I am a total sock snob, but when the weather gets warm, I run barefoot all summer. I don’t like flip flops though, I tend to wear sandals or Birkenstocks or even crocs. I can’t wait for warm weather, we are getting some warm sunshine this week in Oregon and it is so nice after what feels like months of rain.
It’s been a mild winter too, no cold and snow, but we did got some stormy weather and rain. I am a bit sad we didn’t get any snow this year, but I am ready for spring and less wishy washy weather.
I usually sleep with my socks on as else my feet get cold, halfway though the night I often remove my socks once my feet are warm. I am mostly at home and wear slippers and socks then, but I do wear shoes when i go outside.

I prefer no shoes or socks. I have a pedicure all year round to keep the toes looking pretty. I am ready for spring too, we are expecting a bit of snow this week and I hope it’s the last of it.
We are having weird weather too. It’s supposed to be in the high 70’s here. I prefer showing my toes! I think it’s because it get so hot here I feel uncomfortable wearing socks and closed shoes. It takes me a while to get used to wearing shoes in winter lol. For our sake I hope spring will be here soon lol. Have a great week!!
It sounds like you’re ready for Summer! We recently got blasted by the mighty north wind, so for now my toes are staying safely inside my socks and shoes. But when it get’s to be late spring and into summer, the flip flops are coming out! Thank you for stopping by my post!

It was in the 50s yesterday, and today it’s cold and raining. Winter in Virginia, what can I say?
I don’t go around barefoot very much. I’m carrying a few too many extra pounds, so my feet want the support of a good pair of shoes. I do wear sandals in summer, but the SAS kind with a nice cushiony footbed.
Sorry I’m late. I’m a toe covered kind of gal. lol. I like sandals but not with all of my toes hanging out. I do paint my toenails for the summer though, for the shoes that you do see them. 🙂
I have always felt uncomfortable with shoes and socks. Even in the winter, I walk around the house a lot barefoot:)
