Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!

Not going to keep you long. It’s a holiday weekend and I’m sure ya’ll have fun plans.

shopping spree photo: shopping 008aholic65.gif

I plan on doing anything but work! LOL Truly. I’m not doing yard work, cleaning house, or any other chores. I plan to read, eat, watch some television, and swim. Then I’ll repeat it again and again. I did all of my errands so I don’t even have to leave the driveway if I don’t want to. I’ll probably get an itch and maybe go do a little shopping. I do need a new purse! And some new shoes. And….! LOL

Have a safe and wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday posts so be sure to leave me your link.

So, what did you get to read this week?

Got any recommendations?

I’d love to know and thanks so much for visiting fuonlyknew.

  1. Haha, sounds like a fun, relaxing, pajama-and-bathing-suit filled weekend! Pick out some good shoes, you can never have too many of those 😉

  2. Greg says:

Sounds like a good plan for a long holiday weekend! I especially like the swimming part. Take a lap for me. Pitch Black looks good, and Pandemic too. I’ve been reading a lot of thrillers lately. I’ll have to take a look at those.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I haven’t started Pitch Black yet but several people urged me to try it. Got lucky and it was free on Amazon. Didn’t get to do any swimming. Been raining every day.

  3. Deborah says:

Oh wow, so many freebies there! And the new Karin Slaughter… I enjoyed that one.

I hope you can resist doing any work at all this weekend and get to go shopping. A gal can never have too many handbags or shoes. Apparently. 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m looking forward to Karen’s book. I just read her short story, Cold, Cold Heart. It was super wicked and dark.

  4. I am envious of your weekend plans!! Sadly, I had to clean yesterday and do all kinds of ‘adulting’ this weekend when all I really want to do is read and sleep! Sigh… oh well! Have a great weekend!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I did do some laundry. Other than that, it’s been tv, books, and playing cards with my mom. Oh, watched DeadPool. I laughed so much!

  5. Well, I don’t know if it’s resting but I have a short paper to write for English class so that is what I a doing on my day off…lol. 🙂 I am curious about what you think about some of those books you have coming up for review!

Is it bad when you see one of your freebies that looks good and you click it to find out you already had that one. 🙂

Have a great day and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I hope the paper doesn’t take up all your time, Stormi. And congrats on your new job!
I do that too. Click on a freebie and already have it. Perhaps it’s a hint. Stop grabbing more books. LOL

  6. I love books about hotels, so I will be watching out for your review of The Lobby. I had to go grocery shopping yesterday, but other than that my weekend is the same as yours… everything I want to do and nothing I don’t. Ha ha. Have a spectacular week. 🙂

  7. That sounds like a perfect weekend! I do have to get some laundry done but otherwise I’m trying to do a little stuff that I have to do as possible. I want to read and last night I even pulled out a coloring book I’d been sadly neglecting and had a lovely evening. Hope the rest of your holiday is fantastic and have a great week!

  8. sjhigbee says:

I’m picturing you chilling throughout the holiday week-end and have a lovely time:)). Well done you for getting ahead with your blogging. I hope your relaxation time sets you up for a great week:). This is my Sunday Post https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/09/04/sunday-post-4th-september/

  9. I also plan to do nothing this weekend until next week. Then I have to clean this mess I call a house 🙂

Have a great week Laura! Happy Reading! Going to check out all those awesome books you got! 🙂

  10. Nora says:

    I didn’t read much this week 🙁

    • fuonlyknew says:

I read books I shouldn’t be reading. I have a stack of review ones, but couldn’t resist reading a few I’d just got that I’d been waiting for.

  11. While I’ve been putting off the little (work) things I need to do at home, I’ve got to get to them tomorrow. But until then, I’m kicking it up and enjoying the weekend!

  12. I’ve been eyeing The Kept Woman…can’t wait! Enjoy your week and all your lovely books, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  13. readerbuzz says:

I don’t plan to do much this weekend either. After all, it is Labor Day, and that means a day of rest from work!

  14. buffywnabe says:

As you saw on my Sunday Post on Lisa Loves Literature, I didn’t really need anymore free ebooks, but I had to go get Skeletal from your list! 🙂 Like you I’m choosing no work this weekend! Although I did have to do dishes by hand yesterday because the glasses that I like to keep in the freezer can’t go in the dishwasher. Have a great week! Enjoy all your new reads!

  15. atothewr says:

Hope you have a great Labor Day!

  16. Melissa (My World...in words and pages) says:

I hope you got to do anything but work over the holiday weekend. 🙂 And there are books here I’m going to have to look into. Cool!
