Welcome to The Friday 56 hosted by Freda’s Voice.

This is a really fun meme!

The only rules are to grab a book (any book), turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader and find a sentence or a few (no spoilers) that grabs you and post it.

Then go over to Freda’s Voice and leave your link so we can visit your 56!

My 56 for this week is from:

Bulletproof Badge

Texas Rangers: Elite Troop #1

by Angi Morgan

Genre: Romantic Suspense

From Page 56 in the paperback.

If he was going to finish his assignment, he’d still need a way to defend himself…and a toothbrush wouldn’t hurt.

I won this book in a giveaway. I already had the book the author was giving away so she sent me this one. How awesome is that!

Read on if you want to know more.

Synopsis

HE’D TAKE A BULLET FOR HER

His key witnesses dead, Texas Ranger Garrison Travis had to protect innocent bystander Kenderly Tyler. Her crucial evidence had two very dangerous Texas crime families willing to do anything to keep her quiet. But Garrison’s undercover status had branded him a killer, and now the bad and the good guys were after them both.

Hiding out with a handsome protector, on the run for her life, was so beyond anything Kenderly had imagined. While there was more than just adrenaline pulsing between them, the Ranger vowed his job was his life. Dare she wonder what would become of them should they actually make it out alive?

  3. This is not my genre to be honest, but I’m always on the lookout for books to recommend to readers at the library. We have a great group that loves their Harlequin romances. Thanks for sharing!

Not something I’d choose, but if I won it, I’m sure I’d enjoy it! Today I’m featuring The Underachieving Ovary by JT Lawrence.

I recently won a couple of Harlequin books and they were great so I’ve been looking for more. I never enter a giveaway for a book unless I plan to read it and this series really caught my attention. Texas Rangers!!! LOL

  7. Maria says:

I love romantic suspense books and this one sounds pretty good – plus I like that these types of books usually get right into the story right away – and I could not agree more with the 56 – taking a toothbrush with you anytime you travel is a great idea! ….lol…thanks for visiting my Friday meme earlier

  8. Freda Mans says:
