This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

This week was spring break here on the coast and I had the week off of work. It was glorious and went by too fast. I want a ground hog day where I go back and do the same week over, and over, and…..LOL

I didn’t do much of anything. Read some books.Watched some movies and shows. Stayed up late and actually slept in past 7! At least I’m well rested.

Sorry I didn’t visit a lot. Tried to stay away from the computer, though I did sneak in some time each day. I couldn’t help it. The dang thing was sitting there. Waiting for me to touch it.

Do you like a staycation where you stay at home or do you like to travel?

I used t like to go go go but now and then a staycation is nice too. Good for relaxing and getting lots of reading done! lol it’s spring break week here this week. No real plans but I might be visiting relatives in Florida in May, not sure yet. Just in time for it to get hot. 🙂

The Post Apocalyptic Readers Guide looks fun.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m more a stay at home gal now myself:) I have all the comforts of home, plus a pool and lots of beautiful scenery. If you come down to Florida, wave when you pass by. LOL

  2. A staycation sounds lovely and it looks like you spent it perfectly! We will probably do that this summer, but there will be DIY projects with it. 🙁 I am going to check out THE ASHES.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I love to stay at home but I also like to travel to new places and love staying in hotels! LOL The Ashes was a creepy read. It’s the second in a series but stands alone just fine.

  3. As much as I love to travel some times staycations are just as fun and relaxing. 🙂 Have a great week and happy reading!!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I actually feel so lazy. LOL I did work a bit around the house and yard. But mostly I just relaxed.

  4. When I’m at home I generally keep to my routine and blog all day. If I want an actual holiday from the computer I need to go away from my house! I could use a holiday actually!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I know what you mean. If I want time away from the computer I need to leave home and leave the computer. LOL

  5. Glad you enjoyed your spring break and, for the most part, we had great weather. I am not grabbing any books this week, but thanks for sharing the freebies.

I was thinking about you two when that storm came through. It wasn’t much here but I saw what was happening West of us on the news. Did you notice? I didn’t grab any new books this week! LOL

  6. sjhigbee says:

We mostly do staycations – we often have the grandchildren during the holidays and Himself is often very tired during the holiday breaks – hopefully now his sleep apnea has been diagnosed, he will have more energy. Hope this coming week is a good one now that you are so refreshed:). My Sunday Post – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2017/04/02/sunday-post-2nd-april-2017/

  7. That sounds about like how I spent my spring break. I stayed up way too late and slept in way too long, but I enjoyed it. I like a staycation if there aren’t errands and things to do, but I also like to travel and go see and do things.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I like to travel when no large events or holidays are going on. It’s staycation when there is. LOL

  8. krazaykris says:

Sounds like you have a relaxing vacation. I’m kind of a homebody so I like to hang out at the house and relax when we have time off.

  9. Katherine P says:

Sounds like a nice vacation and yay on no new book! I love the idea of staying home for vacation but typically find myself doing an endless quantity of chores which is not so relaxing! Have a great week!

  10. I don’t even think about spring break anymore, that’s sad huh?

Sometimes I love to travel other times I don’t. It really depends on my mood.

Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen

    • fuonlyknew says:

I only think about it because some of the employees where I work ask for it off so we usually all get the time off. Not complaining. LOL

  11. Just got back from a little break myself. Glad yours was restful and relaxing. Have a great week.

    • fuonlyknew says:

It’s always sad to return to work but I quickly fall back into the groove….until the next time:)

  12. Spring break went by too fast for us too. Wish it could last forever!!

  13. I like to travel, but staying home can be more relaxing sometimes. I also like to take time away from the computer. That hasn’t happened in a while, though. I hope you have a great week!

  14. fitkittymama says:

I love staycations, though right now I’d be happy with just a day off!

  15. Glad you had a nice, restful break! Those are the best! Have a good week 🙂

  16. Oh our stay-cations always end up with doing work around the house. Lots of heavy work. Like building walls or porches or painting or something that takes all out time and energy. lol. I much rather go away, though we don’t get much rest with that either because we’re always trying to pack everything into a day.

Glad you had a nice time relaxing. 🙂 Take care!

  17. I am sorry it took so loooooooooong to get around this week. I have that nasty respiratory flu. I will get on getting your gift card sent, too. I hope you had a wonderful week. 🙂

  18. Darlene says:

I had a staycation with the kids during Spring Break, too. I do love to travel, but that’s not an option for us right now. Maybe next year!

It does fly by too fast! Have a great week.
