Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

Been a busy week. Work was crazy and the house needed a good cleaning. Still does. LOL I just couldn’t make myself do much. I was the epitome of a couch potato. Watched the telly, read, and took several naps. I do feel good and rested now and plan to work my butt off to get my house in order. Good thing I have a long weekend!

Enough about me. How was your week. Anything fun happen?

Ooh long weekends are nice. Hope you enjoy. As usual some fun looking books! I’ll need to go see your thoughts on Ararat and love the cover of Crush. Hope you have a good weekend!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m enjoying it and not doing a whole lot. Feels good:) Ararat was thrilling and I agree, the cover for Crush is stunning.

  2. The housework always get done in the end, it’s more fun to have me-time! And sometimes you just need to be a couch potato, and relax.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m usually a go to it gal. See something that needs to be done and do it. I drive myself crazy. LOL Feels good to ignore things for a change.

  3. I thought Origin was a fun read. I’m looking forward to reading Ararat soon.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I sure enjoyed Origin. It’s my kind of plot. As is Ararat. I won a book of choice and picked it but had to wait for it to be released. Well worth that wait!

  4. Your week sounds relaxing! XD I hope you enjoy your new books! Thanks for the freebies!!

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

  5. krazaykris says:

I snagged a free copy of Black this week, too! I can’t wait to start reading it.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I try not to grab all of the freebies I share but Black hooked me with the blurb, cover, and title!

  6. Oh couch potato status sounds awesome! And cleaning will always be there so sometimes it should get moved to the back burner! Have a wonderful long weekend!

  7. LOL, our house needs a good cleaning too. I never seem to have two minutes during the day. Hope this week is a good one and that you enjoy all of your new books.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Most of the cleaning is still waiting. LOL With the long weekend, I do need to do some as the short week at work will be busy.

  8. Wow! That’s a lot of great books you got there! I hope you get your house cleaned up soon! I need to start doing that too!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m having a hard time choosing which book to read. I have different ones on each Kindle. LOL And the cleaning is still waiting. LOL

  9. Sometimes being a couch potato is the best thing. It’s good to just relax.

Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen

  10. You’re allowed to be a couch potato from time to time 😛 Enjoy your books and have a great week!

  11. sjhigbee says:

I’m a fan of the couch potato option – after all the dust and housework isn’t going anywhere, is it? Have a great week Laura:)

  12. Couch potato could be my profession. LOL

  13. Darlene says:

Savor the moments when you can enjoy some ME time! Sounds like a relaxing weekend. I’m envious! I did laundry, house-cleaning and cut the grass!! At least I did it while listening to my audiobook 🙂

    • fuonlyknew says:

I listen to audibles while cleaning and doing yard work too. Helps me keep going when I’m not thinking about what I have to do next.

  14. I’ve read a few of Chrissy Peebles free books but to be honest I wasn’t greatly impressed by the writing. I haven’t read this one though. Ararat was good though.

  15. I’m still waiting for the spring cleaning bug to hit, but it’s been too cold! Have a fabulous week. 🙂

  16. Witch Cake Murders has such a cute cover I’ll have to check it out!

  17. yvonne473 says:

TV, reading, naps…sounds like the perfect weekend to me 🙂 Witch Cake Murders looks really good. Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I never used to be able to take naps. Always thought I was wasting valuable time. Now I find a short nap refreshing:)

  18. At least you read so it wasn’t entirely unproductive 😉

  19. LOL sometimes you just have to do that. Chills is gorgeous!

  20. So many interesting books. Happy reading!
