This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Sunday Post

Some chit chat.

A new week. And more rain. It seems like it will never stop. I’m lucky to get an hour here or there when I can get outdoors before the storm clouds move back in. The upside to it is my house is sparkling clean and I’ve read a whole lot of books.

And I’m on vacation! Got the week of the 4th off. My plans are to stay close to home, relax and have fun. Maybe take in a movie and go out to eat. The neighbors usually do some impressive fireworks so I can enjoy them from my own back yard.

Well, the rain has stopped and the sun is peeking out, so I’m heading outside. Have a safe and wonderful weekend and a Happy 4th ya’ll!

Happy 4th!! Hope you have a great vacation week! And that the weather cooperates. It’s nice when you can see fireworks from home, especially if neighbors have good ones. It always takes an hour or so to get out of the place when we go to them here, I wouldn’t mind watching from home with some choice beverages and snacks lol!

Hounded- yikes! Quite the cover. And I like that one for Awaken Online- that’s a creepy looking cat! Dinosaur Lake looks pretty awesome too.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Went to watch the Pensacola Blue Wahoos with my sister and they had some amazing fireworks. Heard a bunch last night too. Going to loud around here for a while. LOL Looks like I’m back in the horror and thriller genre. So many good ones are coming out right now.

  2. Enjoy your vacation and your book haul! Your books are all new to me, so I’ll be watching for reviews. Enjoy!

    • fuonlyknew says:

The rains are gone and the sun is shining. I plan to spend my time outdoors reading and dipping in the pool:)

  3. Anastasia says:

Enjoy your vacation! :) Have to check these books out! :)

  4. Yay for vacation! :) I wish I could have one xD

    • fuonlyknew says:

I almost forgot that it’s the company vacation at this time each year. LOL It’s much needed:)

  5. Emma says:

Happy 4th. Hope you have a good week off and it’s a little less rainy.

  6. It was suppose to rain today but the sun is shining so I don’t know if it will hit later or if the storm went around us (around us would be fine), it’s also suppose to rain till Wed. Blah. Then after that the forecast looks pretty hot unless it changes which happens a lot.

You got me with a few of those freebies! :)

    Have a fun vacation!

Don’t blink or the sun will disappear! And yes! It’s been a while since I got ya. LOL

  7. Every time I see Glynn James I want to read the Arisen series again! I can’t believe that the last book comes out this year! *sobs* I grabbed the M Van book because this is the plot I’ve searched for in zombie books!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’ve had Glynn’s first book for a while. Time to get started. Especially since you seem to enjoy the series. And I really liked Ash. A tough young lady.

  8. Oh man, we’ve had rain too! SO MUCH RAIN! But today it seems to be clear, at least right now. Awesome books this week! I hope you love them all! And thanks for the freebies!!

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

    • fuonlyknew says:

You should see my plants. They are so huge and glorious. One good thing about fresh water. LOL

  9. We have had storms every day. I’m so ready for it to pass. My grass is outrageously tall right now.

    • fuonlyknew says:

My back yard was a jungle. The rains finally quit and the lawn guy was able to mow once it dried up. Everything is growing like crazy.

  10. Yay! Have a nice vacation and I hope that the rain storms don’t get too bad down there!

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  13. Jo-Ann says:

Enjoy your vacation and Happy 4th of July!

  14. I think EVERYONE took this week off for vacation :) I love your plans, they actually sound perfectly relaxing and completely stress free!! And the sun came out just in time, huh?? Well, at least you’re not at a loss for reading material!! I can’t believe there hasn’t been a lull in the creepy books for summer!!! Thank goodness for you, right???

    Have a great vacation!!!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yes. Sun is shing. Pool is warm. And lots of new books. A perfect vacation at home.

  15. Oh no! I love a little rain but constant rain is a real bummer. We’ve had a mostly dry and hot (but also humid) week after tons of rain and hopefully it will stay that way for the next couple of days since fireworks get cancelled here if it rains. We’ve missed them the past few years so I was really hoping to catch them this time around!
    Have a great week! Happy 4th! :)

    • fuonlyknew says:

I had my fingers crossed about our fireworks. The rains stopped but the grounds were too soggy so they had to do them at a different location.

  16. The Cole book looks so cute. Enjoy your staycation sometimes they are the most relaxing!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I just finished reading it and really had fun. A perfect beach read. And my vacation is going swimmingly! Thanks:)

  17. katarguelles says:

  18. Sometimes it is just nice to stay at home on vacation. Hope you get lots of reading time.

  19. Hope you have an awesome vacation!! And happy 4th!
Enjoy your new reads – that’s a lot of books there :) Lol.

    Have a lovely week ahead.

  20. sjhigbee says:
