This is my own version of a weekly book haul and all things new on fuonlyknew.

I’m also linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Some chit chat.

What a whirlwind this week has been. I’m working out my notice at my old job while also doing training at my new one. One good thing is I’ll love getting two paychecks. LOL With this going on for another week, I won’t have time or energy for much else, so I’m working hard on getting some posts ahead and writing some upcoming reviews so I don’t fall behind.  Busy, busy, busy!!

So, Sunday is my day. No work and all play! I’m making myself ignore chores and just reading and watching the telly. Might sneak in a nap too:)

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

  7. Carole says:

I always try to make Sunday my day as well. I usually do the laundry and some cooking that day but otherwise I try to relax and do things that I want to do (including naps). Good luck with the job change! Have a great week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I did do laundry and sweep the floors. Then I finished reading Stoker’s Wilde and watched Forest Gump. With a nap in between:)

  9. Yay for 2 paychecks but that is a LOT of work. At least there is only 1 more week left of it.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep, one more week, kind of. I will still work my other job but probably only one day a week. And I don’t know for how long.

  10. Tammy says:

I think I’d go crazy trying to work two jobs! At least it’s just another week, good luck!

  11. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

Ignoring chores and taking is all Sundays are for. I hope you had a relaxed Sunday and have an awesome week ahead.

  12. Definitely kick up your feet and relax! Today is my “Saturday” as well and I plan on doing the same thing as you. Lots and lots of relaxing. 🙂

  13. Daniela Ark says:

Oh wow notice and training! You go girl! Girl power and two paychecks! Woohooo! Hope you get some rest today!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Lots of paperwork and computer work and then on the job training. I can’t way to be comfortable and not so nervous in my new job. Probably will after this next week.

  14. You do sound very busy! But two checks isn’t bad lol.

    Happy reading!

  15. Great plan! I try to do all my errands and stuff during the week so I can just stay home if I want on the weekend. I hope the new job works out very well for you! Happy reading when you can.

    Here is my Sunday Post

    • fuonlyknew says:

I try to do my errands during the week too. This new job will include working some weekends so it will be an adjustment for me.

  16. Anna says:

    Witch Hunt sounds good!

  17. Wow, you really are busy! Good luck with the transition to the new job!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Thanks. Working days and nights is tiring. At least only one of them is physical work and only for one more week.

  18. Oh my, I don’t know how you’re managing to do two jobs at the moment! I’m tired just keeping up with one. :/
Enjoy your lazy Sunday, you deserve it. 🙂

  19. I’m in awe of your ability to do two jobs at once. I can barely manage one! Enjoy your Sunday!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I’m a bit old do be doing this. LOL After next week I’ll be doing just one job and it is much easier physically then my old one.

  20. sjhigbee says:

That inbetween when you are getting the hang of one job, while working out notice on another is always exhausting. I hope you’ve had a really relaxing Sunday, Laura – and best of luck with the new job!

  21. I need Fairmont – off to grab it!

  22. Enjoy your books and your week. I am curious about Shopping for a Billionaire. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  26. Managing both jobs at once sounds exhausting but hooray for two paychecks. 🙂 I like the covers of the Brit Lunden books.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Only one more week and then just one job! And I like the covers too. The books are short so I hope to get them read soon.

  27. Sounds like a really busy time until you finish your old job! Still as you say, the extra money will be nice!

  28. Yikes! That sounds like a crazy busy week! Two jobs at the same time. I hope it slows down for you fast. Thank god for the two paychecks though. That’s pretty good. 😀
    Happy reading!

  29. Beware Of The Reader says:

I love your definition of Sunday Laura!!! And good luck with the new job!

  30. Lynn says:

It does sound incredibly busy! I have a hard time keeping up with everything while switching jobs but never had to work two at the same time.
I hope you had a fantastic Sunday!

    • fuonlyknew says:

This week isn’t as busy as most of my training is on a computer and only three days. Then next week I officially start training on the job and will only be working one job:)

  31. herding cats says:

Two paychecks is certainly nice. lol Hope you have a good rest of the week!

  32. Katherine says:

Whew! Sounds like you’ve got more than a little going on. Hopefully you’ll be able to buy yourself a treat with the extra money. Something to make up for all the work! Hope you’re having a wonderful week.
