Some chit chat.

It’s been one of those weeks. So many things went wrong. I think the worst was my internet. The provider had to come out twice as it kept going off. I apologize for missing so many of your posts. You can imagine the amount of emails I had waiting for me to go through.

We finally got some rain and some cooler temps. I’m enjoying the brisk mornings but it still gets hot once the sun gets above the trees. It smells like fall!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Oh no internet issues- not fun. Hope they got it all straightened out. It’s been cooling WAY off here- sounds like you’re having a nice gradual fall settle in though, which is nice.

You have a ton of awesome looking scary reads this week!

    • fuonlyknew says:

It might be fixed now. I sure hope it is:) And fall is slowly but surely arriving. I love being able to sit outside and read without melting. LOL

  2. kozbisa says:

Sorry to hear about the internet issues. It’s always such a huge deal to get them to come out too. Here, they give us this vague 8-hour window of when they will arrive. Not sure if it’s like that with your provider.

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yep. It’s hurry up and wait for them to get to you. LOL At least I only had to wait three days for them to come out the second time.

  3. Stormi D Johnson says:

That sucks about the internet problems! Glad you are enjoying cooler weather, I on the other hand am already wanting spring! 🙂 I just don’t do cold well.

I am enjoying your Thrills and Chills though I am a bit behind on checking them out! 🙂

Have a great week and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I don’t have as much time to be on the computer now and having it not work makes it even more frustrating. I’m hoping it stays fixed!

  4. Tammy says:

Sorry about your internet problems, that’s one thing that drives me crazy! Hope it gets resolved soon.

  5. sorry about your internet. glad to see you back. i love that interactive cover. 🙂 always appreciate you sharing all the great books

  6. Liliana says:

Oh no! I hope you have a better week! And I agree, it is definitely starting to smell like Fall. Yay! Lol.

  7. Ech, I hate Internet troubles or computer troubles. We had our electricity go out (first time in years) here one evening last week and I was so frustrated I couldn’t watch TV or write on my new book on my laptop. My husband and I just gave up and ran off to a restaurant for supper until the electricity came back on. Made me feel so sorry for those people in California who had theirs turned off for days…

  8. Beware Of The Reader says:

Internet issues have me panicking Laura! It’s silly really but I can’t help it! And yes I can imagine the amount of mails you must have to go through!

    • fuonlyknew says:

I have today off from both jobs and going to try catching up on emails and write a few reviews. I can’t miss a day in my October feature!

  9. Going without internet is super sucky!!! Hopefully its all solid now!

  10. It is frustrating how much we rely on being connected and when it goes out. Yikes. Hope you do not experience any more issues.

  11. Oh internet troubles are so frustrating! Hopefully things will stay working for awhile now. Hope this week is much better!

  12. Sorry you’ve been having internet problems. That stinks. It does look like you’ve found some good books here – and I definitely need a grab a few of them.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I think what bothers me the most is not being able to visit other blogs. I love seeing what everyone is up to. And not being to comment back on my own posts is frustrating too. At least I have some good books to keep me busy. LOL

  13. I hate internet issues and whenever they hit I’m brutally reminded of how dependant more of my household devices are on it!
Fingers crossed that’s them sorted for you. Have a good week!

  14. sjhigbee says:

Urg! So sorry to hear you have been having internet issues… I hate it when that happens – I’d rather lose the TV than find I’ve no internet, these days! I hope that’s now all behind you and you get a chance to catch up in the coming weeks. May you have a much better week:))

  15. Ugh computer issues are so frustrating. These companies are quick enough about moaning that you pay on time but are never in a hurry to fix things!

  16. Carole says:

Internet issues are the worst. It’s funny when you think about it since I was fine without it for the first part of the my life but now I NEED it. I hope you have a great week!

  17. Rachel @Waves of Fiction says:

Oh, internet issues are the worst! Hope you get it all sorted. Glad to hear you’re getting cooler temps. It’s a relief, right?! Same here. 🙂

  18. I hate computer issues. I’m struggling to keep my emails below 100 unhandled after traveling. It is also cooler here; today I caved and turned on the heat! It was 90 a week ago. I wish a better week for us both.

It just turned cold here too and there’s that tropical storm in the gulf. At least it isn’t going to affect my area.
