Some chit chat.

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I spent mine watching movies and eating a pizza. Then I went outside to watch the neighborhood fireworks. They were awesome!

Did you make a resolution for this year? Mine is the same every year. Live each day to the fullest and enjoy the little things in life.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

I like your resolution! And New Year’s Eve was spent with pizza here as well haha! Not a bade way to ring in the new year. 🙂

We went to the nearby beach to watch the fireworks and then had a quiet night inside.

    Happy New Year!

  3. New Year is just another day of the week to me! I was reading with headphones on to block out the fireworks and that was just fine with me! I’ve enjoyed my reading this year so far-long may that continue!

  6. Tammy says:

Such an easy resolution, and one that makes a lot of sense. I’m very much the same way. I don’t look ahead too much, I just concentrate on what’s right in front of me😁

    • fuonlyknew says:

Stress ate me alive because I was always worrying about what lay ahead. Now I’m less stressed and can enjoy living in the moment more:)

  7. sjhigbee says:

Laura I think your resolution is the best resolution!

  10. Robin is a fan of Craig Schafer so I got 2 of his freebies this week. I’m glad you had a straightforward and lovely new years. Having so much I want to do means I am running at a fast rate and things are a little too complicated but the house is finally shaping up. Have a wonderful week with some great reads!

  12. Literary Feline says:

Happy New Year! We welcomed in the New Year quietly. Well, except for our traditional banging of pots and pans. I don’t really have any resolutions to kick off the year. I do want to read more poetry this year, but that’s about it. I hope you have a great 2020!

  13. Liliana says:

That is a great resolution! It sounds like your year started off very chill, and that’s awesome! Lol.

    Have a great week!

  14. Maureen Bakker says:

Happy New Years! I love your resolution. I don’t really have any new years resolutions other than trying to stay ahead more of my blogging and reading. 😀
Have a great week and happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

My blogging and visiting has suffered and I hope to do better this year. Working two jobs makes it hard to keep up.

  15. Great resolution. Mine is to stop sticking through things that make me unhappy.

  16. I hope you have another great blogging year, Laura!

  17. I like your resolution and the way you spent New Years sounds perfect! I didn’t really make any concrete resolutions this year. I mostly just want to focus on being in the present and not getting too much in my head. Have a great week!

  18. Happy New Year 🥳 What a great resolution

  20. Becki says:

Excellent resolution! I looked at the beagle book – a whole series of ‘misbehaving billionaires’? LOL What’s next? 😀

  21. Our New Year’s was low-key. We stayed home and did pop some champagne but we never go out. We’re homebodies – what can I say. Plus, who better to ring in the new year with besides the pups.

There are some good looking books here. I managed to read over vacation as well as watch some shows but I still feel like I’m drastically behind on some of them. Hope you are having a wonderful 2020 so far!

  22. alisbooks says:
