Some chit chat.

Wasn’t it just Christmas? Time sure flies. Finally started taking down holiday decorations. It’s so much more fun putting them up. LOL Now I’m decorating for Mardi Gras. Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler – Let The Good  Times Roll. I’m not planning on attending any balls but might take in some parades and catch some loot!

Looking forward to chatting with you and have a great new week!

I have taken down the Christmas decorations as well but I am not planning on decorating for Mardi Gras lol

  2. Snapdragon says:

Mardi Gras is not a big celebration where I live. It sure sound fun.
    Have a great week.

Oh, you live near or in NOLA? I love NOLA!!! A few years ago I did a Mardi Gras display for my library. We had a pretty big French language program so they did things with it and I think my display got a lot of attention! I don’t feel like it would at the school where I work now though. The Verse books look interesting, maybe something my students would like. I’ll have to check them out. Thanks for visiting Lisa Loves Literature earlier!

  4. Yes, taking down decorations isn’t nearly as fun. Have a good week!

  6. Storm Reads says:

I don’t really decorate. I do put a few things in the background of where I film my videos, but other than that nothing…lol. One of these days I would love to take in a Mardi Gras parade just to say I have done so…lol.

    Have a great week!

Yay for Mardi Gras! And happy New Year!!!

  8. Berls says:

Yeah, it really is so much more fun putting them up. My stepson and his girlfriend come over, and we all put them up together with Dante (3) chipping in a tiny bit. But when it’s time to clean up, I’m all on my own.

We don’t do much for Mardi Gras here, but man would it be fun if we did. Happy New Year and have a great week 🙂

  9. We didn’t get our Christmas stuff up until really late so we will enjoy it into January. I’m still not ready to go out in crowds like that. But I hope you enjoy some Mardi Gras.
