This is my own version of a bookhaul post where I’ll be telling you about all of the books I got this week, whether print or e-book.
I got quite a few books this week, some free, some for review, and some I purchased just for my reading pleasure.
First up is freebies. I can’t help it. I just have to grab some. Here’s what I got this week.
Here’s what I received for reviews.
These are books I won.
This one my sister gave to me.
These are ones I bought. Some new and some used.
This is not a typical weeks haul. There usually aren’t this many.
I have many happy hours of reading ahead and a heck of a lot of notes to take!
You can click on the covers to purchase any of these.
So what did you get this week? See something you like? Do you have any of these? Leave a comment and let me know.

Love the post Laura. Quite a haul, when do you find the time to read them all? LOL Happy New Year.
Look who’s talking miss readaholic:) lol
That is a great collection of books. I picked up Perfect Strangers but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. My TBR list is quite long.
Thanks for sharing.
I’m dying to read them all. I’m really curious about Rhubarb! Catchy name and cover art.
Loads of books! 🙂 I can’t resist a freebie either 🙂
I love freebies. It’s a great way to discover new authors and I’ve found some really great writers!
Thanks for posting these, what a cool (and helpful idea)! I’m going to get the two Lancaster House novels, What the Dark Brings, and Rhubarb; I already had The Choice Way cool!
You’re welcome. My Sundays are kind of quiet on my blog and figured I would do my own meme each week. It’s a great way to promote authors and their books and pass on some freebies and books I like.
The cover for Thread on Arrival is really cute.
Isn’t it? I was so excited when I won it. I’ll probably be reading all of her books eventually. I get hooked on these humorous ones.
Nice haul!
I received four packages from Amazon yesterday. And stopped in at Barnes & Nobles. Let’s see if I can remember everything:
Header by Edward Lee
Tangled by Max Xavier
The Concrete Grove Trilogy by Gary McMahon
The Faceless by Simon Bestwick
The Lazarus Machine by Paul Crilley
The Osiris Ritual by George Mann
The Quarry by Mark Allan Gunnells
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Conspiracy by S.D. Perry
Blood Lite III: Aftertaste
and
Leverage: The Con Job by Matt Forbeck
I think that’s it. The question is, what am I going to read next week?
A Christmas after Christmas!
I’m going to check these out. Haven’t heard of many of them. Thanks for sharing.
Let me know which one you start with!
Yesterday I read Header, the Holy Grail of hardcore horror novellas, and Tangled, a short book of wonderful, heartrending poetry. Today I read the Leverage novel, which takes place at Comic-con, a fun book for a geek like me, and I have started the Resident Evil book.
I have already read The Faceless, Blood Lite III, and the first book of the Concrete Grove trilogy (appropriately titled The Concrete Grove). I had borrowed them from the library, and all three were good enough to purchase.
I will most likely read The Lazarus Machine next. It’s a steampunk mystery.
Oh, and I forgot a few books. I also got The Book of Cthulhu II, Frontier Cthulhu, High Seas Cthulhu, and Hard-boiled Cthulhu. (Hmm. I’m sensing a theme.)
Some great books to end one year and start the next.
Reblogged this on Author, G. D. Grace.
Thanks again for reblogging! Have a Happy New Years!
Laura
