My Tease

They shoved until the body folded and disappeared into the darkness of the Chevy’s back end, which was normally reserved for groceries and Miranda’s snotty poodle.

“Let’s go buddy.”

“Where?” Tim asked, his legs mortared in place.

“My place,” Jay answered, opening the opposite door. “We’ll need some shovels.”

At only about 30 pages, I should’ve had this finished right away. Had to stop to go to work but will be finishing it tonight!

How about you? Got a tease? Tell me!

He could not wield a sword, but he could hold one. His missing hand was throbbing. That was almost funny. He had more feeling in the hand he’d lost than in the rest of the body that remained to him.

“A Feast for Crows” by George RR Martin. Trying to finish before I can check out a Dance With Dragons from the library! Gotta love waiting lists

I’ve heard of this one! Going to have to check it out.
Dance with Dragons is a new one for me.
      Thanks for sharing!

I’ve really enjoyed the whole “song of ice and fire” series so far. I had read the first two books before Game of Thrones came out on HBO, and I was SO glad the series is doing the books justice. Though I still yell at the TV when a character I loved is killed off, even knowing ahead of time they were going to die.

  2. Looks pretty evil. I picked up my copy. Thanks Laura.

    Ah, body disposal…
