Am I glad this week is over. I swear, it was so cold I froze my butt off, literally! 
I work outside and with the bitter cold and gusting wind, I felt like a human popsicle. I really shouldn’t be complaining as so many folks had it so much worse. My mother said last night it hit 20 below. I’m so glad I moved south!
Mardi Gras is over and now it’s on to the next big rush. Spring Break! Hard to believe it’s next month. Sure hope the weather cooperates and the beaches are sunny and warm.
I know I’m probably getting ahead of myself, but I’ve been getting my pool ready for swimming. I haven’t braved getting in, YET, but it sure looks sparkling clean and inviting. The gale force winds today are creating whitecaps. LOL
