Am I glad this week is over. I swear, it was so cold I froze my butt off, literally! freezing photo: wind-und-schnee.gif I work outside and with the bitter cold and gusting wind, I felt like a human popsicle. I really shouldn’t be complaining as so many folks had it so much worse. My mother said last night it hit 20 below.  I’m so glad I moved south!

Mardi Gras is over and now it’s on to the next big rush. Spring Break! Hard to believe it’s next month. Sure hope the weather cooperates and the beaches are sunny and warm.

I know I’m probably getting ahead of myself, but I’ve been getting my pool ready for swimming. I haven’t braved getting in, YET, but it sure looks sparkling clean and inviting. The gale force winds today are creating whitecaps. LOL

Here’s a cute video to warm you up:)

So, what did you get to read this week?

Got any recommendations?

I’d love to know and thanks so much for visiting fuonlyknew.

.
I really like the cover art for A Celtic Tapestry. Isn’t it lovely?
Come on in a see all of the stories included by multiple authors in the boxset.
You might recognize some of the authors or discover some new ones!
.
.
The wheel of the year turns, bringing the joy of spring, the warmth of summer, the richness of autumn, and the merriment of winter. But eight Celtic festivals link these seasons together, bringing with them romance, lust, danger, and even magic. From a city under threat from night-time creatures at Ostara, to a selkie caught by the light of the Lughnasadh moon, to a writer caught in the flames of a fiery goddess at Imbolc.

Seven authors have come together to give their own twist on these festivals, weaving each story with a blend of myth, magic, and contemporary telling…to create A Celtic Tapestry.

The novellas are also available on Amazon as singles (Click the covers to purchase)!

The Spring Equinox brings a slew of nasties to the streets of Nashville. Huntress Josie Hawk is determined to get her arch enemy to sign a treaty, whether the Assembly is behind her or not. But when Keller O’Leary–sexiest vampire alive–returns, will Josie learn to be a team player, or will she stake the heart that has captured hers?
.
I bet there’s something for everyone is this collection!
So, what do ya think?!

ilmarinenblogtourbanner

I joined this tour late so I’ve yet to read Ilmarinen but I will be reviewing it later.

The cover art is so whimsical. She looks delicate yet she has a bow and arrows. Could she be a huntress? And what might she be hunting?

And I’m curious about the title. I wonder it’s a play on the author s name? What do you think?

About the banner. It does mention a giveaway. There isn’t one available at this time but I’ll be sure to let you know if it’s added later.

Blurb:

Altana Burrows has always been special.

She’s smart, talented, and quick to learn. She also has a secret, and whenever she tries to tell anyone about it—her friends, her family, the school psychiatrist—they accuse her of letting her imagination run away with her. They don’t believe her. They don’t understand.

They don’t know about Ilmarinen.

They don’t know about the prophecy, or the role Altana will play in it. But the people of Ilmarinen know, and they will help her: a young hunter with a dangerous secret; a talking horse who loves to play; a little girl with a big axe; a beautiful woman in a red dress. Eventually, they will all play a part in Altana’s story, and the fate of a world will rest in their hands.

That is, if they can figure out how to kill a god.
