My Review

Thirteen stories for the holidays. How great is that!

Some of my favorite authors contributed to this anthology along with some new ones for me.

Each story, though not a full length novel, was so well written it felt complete. That shows the talent of these authors, giving you a beginning, middle, and end, in a limited amount of words.

Spend the holidays meeting new characters, falling in love, and solving some murders.

Each new story brings that feeling of wonder. You are entering a new world, going on a new adventure.

After I finished one story, I couldn’t resist starting the next one. And so it went until I finished them all.

With weather cooling down, these stories would be great companions while curled up with a snug blanket and a hot cuppa tea.

5 Stars

The covers are great, really pull you in to check the books out. Love your post. Thanks for the giveaway.

  2. Donna says:

These books sound awesome! Can’t wait to get my hands on them.

  3. Mai Tran says:

The covers are warm and cozy and not at all scary for a mystery. However, twists and turns are much anticipated in a good mystery for me. I’m always thrilled for a new one to read.

    Hi, All–
The Bonus is available. When you get the book, there’s an email address inside. Send an email and the computer gods will automatically send you the bonus file. Unfortunately, Amazon starts the book at the first chapter and skips our FIRST mention of the address, so you can either hit “go to the beginning” or read through until the end, because we’ve listed the address for the bonus in BOTH places.

    Thanks for having us!

    Joanna

  8. jennifer@badbirdreads says:

I just love the holidays…and homicides. lol

  9. Such cute covers and the title, Happy Homicides? 🙂
    sherry @ fundinmental

    • jcslan says:

Sherry, we actually brainstormed the title BEFORE we read all the stories, so some are NOT homicides (and one person *dinged* us for that.) But, we love the sound of “Happy Homicides” so we’ll be keeping that as we move forward. Besides, lots of mysteries have titles that don’t match the innards, or covers with cats, and NO cats in the stories. Sigh. What can I say? We write fiction and we lie a lot.

    • fuonlyknew says:

You’d love these Sherry. And there are some authors you enjoy in here and some new ones for ya!

  10. This sounds like a fun collection of mystery stories, Laura. I’m going to go take a look on Amazon.

    • fuonlyknew says:

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. They aren’t all murder myseries and there’s some characters to meet too:)
