Some chit chat.

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!

I try hard not to bitch and moan on my blog. But did I have a nightmare week. First, I’ve been struggling with a lot of pain. It radiated from the center of my spine and wrapped all the way around to my ribs. I finally got in to see a doctor, and it’s a muscle spasm. Sounds like no big deal, right? Let me tell you, I’ve been in agony. Couldn’t sit down or lay down without being in excruciating pain. I was so afraid it was something that was going to kill me. Sure felt like it. I’m now doing exercises to stretch the muscles and taking some medicine to ease the spasms and pain. There’s not much else you can do.

Then……..Someone hacked my email account. I woke up to around 8000 spam emails! What a nightmare to delete them all. Sorry if your posts got deleted too.  And for not visiting much this week. I didn’t want to bring my problem over to you by commenting. You never know! It’s all clear now and I’m back in business.

A note of warning: They also hacked my Amazon account and went on a shopping spree with my gift card account. Amazon was amazing and my money was replaced quickly. Do yourself a favor. Change all your passwords from time to time!

On the good side. I’ve been watching the Captain America movies and the Avengers movies with my son. We turn out the lights, turn up the volume, and settle in with bowls of popcorn. Been a blast!

I’ll be hopping over to check out your Sunday posts so be sure to leave me your link!

Popcorn and avengers movies, sounds good to me lol. I actually think the first two Captain america movies ae pretty good and might be my favorite Marvel movies. Sorry to hear about the hacking… people are crazy.

Nice mix of books as always. Deadly Dunes looks fun…

    • fuonlyknew says:

I feel the same about the Captain America movies. They were amazing!
Deadly Dubes is the third book in the series. All of them are a blast!

  2. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been in so much pain this week. That totally sucks!
And you’ve got hacked?? Man.. you really had a rough week. I hope this week will be much much better! 😉
Have a great week and Happy Reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

The pain is getting better, slowly. Thanks:)
I got hacked in a big way. Now I think something is wrong with my blog. It’s always something! LOL

  3. Oh man, sorry to hear you are in so much pain and that you also got hacked. What a horrible week. I hope this week will be much better! 🙂

    Happy reading!

    • fuonlyknew says:

Yeah. It wasn’t my best week. LOL I think something is wrong on my blog now. Are you getting my posts in your email? I’m not sure if they are going out to everyone.

  4. cindy says:

ohh sorry you got hacked:( that’s awful! I hope the week ahead is much better:)

  5. Deborah says:

Oh Laura, what a shocker of a week. Sorry to hear about your email getting hacked on top of the muscle spasms. How annoying they can’t do anything about the latter. Would dry needling (something physios do – like acupuncture) help I wonder? Am sure the doctor would know.

    Hope next week is better.

  6. So sorry you’ve had all that pain to deal with this week, Laura! I hope both the exercises and the medication will help.
*groans* at hackers! And before I typed out my comment here, I went to change my amazon password. My e-mail passwords have been changed quite recently, so hopefully, I’m OK there.
Your new books look fantastic! Enjoy them all.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  7. Well, shit. I’m sorry to hear about the hacking. I’d love to do some hacking to the hackers. Hint: It wouldn’t be pretty. *evil cackles*

I hope the stretches and medicine help. Back pain is definitely no picnic. You don’t realize how much you actually use your back even when you don’t think you’re using it.

Omg! I *LOVE* the Marvel movies. So much fun! 😀

  8. Love your constantly positive attitude!! Nothing dismays you: not rain, not hail, not flu, not pain, not hacking, not potential $$ loss. You just keep on keeping’ on, such an inspiration!!

  9. sjhigbee says:

What a horrible thing to have happened! I HATE hackers and think they should be hung up by their thumbs! I very much hope they catch them… In the meantime – huge respect for continuing on despite it all. So sorry about the back pain – I know only too well how that can feel. I got an amazing amount of relief by using a TENS machine, which really helps with muscle and nerve pain. Hope you soon feel a LOT better and that this coming week is a good one for you. My weekly wrap-up… https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/05/08/weekly-wrap-up-8th-may/

  10. S. J. Pajonas (spajonas) says:

Oh wow. You had one heck of a week! First the muscle spasms (been there, they suck!) and then the hacking. I’d probably cry. So I really hope next week goes a lot better for you! Hugs!

  11. Lelia T says:

I’m sorry you had such an awful week—hope your muscle spasm is gone soon if not already.

  12. Sorry about the pain, that sounds miserable :-/ AND your email and Amazon getting hacked?! That does sound like a nightmare. I don’t blame you for complaining about your week. Glad you at least got that sorted out. At least you’ve got some interesting looking new books 🙂

  13. Oh, that sucks about the hacker…bad enough for them to hack e-mail account, but Amazon, too? Scary….

Enjoy your books…they look tempting. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  14. I am so sorry that you got hacked. Glad it was fixed quickly. Sorry about the muscle spasm, I hope the meds and stretching help to relieve it. May this week be much better for you all around!

  15. So sorry to hear about the hacking incident! I’m glad that it was all taken care of! Enjoy your new books this week! 😀

    Here’s my Weekly Recap!

  16. Yvonne says:

I’m so sorry for all you’ve gone through this week. I hope the upcoming week is a better one.

  17. Lauren says:

Sorry about the back pain – I know it can be excruciating!
The hacking can be just as painful and you have to be so careful in the Internet.
Hope this week goes more smoothly!

  18. I am so sorry all of that awful stuff happened. Take a magnesium supplement. Everyone is always pushing potassium when it comes to muscke spasms and they forget all about magnesium. I hope you have a better week this week, but I guess that won’t be hard to do in comparison! <3

  19. atothewr says:

Sorry to hear you had so much trouble. I think I might start changing my passwords more. You got me spooked. Hope your back gets better. I had to sleep sitting up one time because I couldn’t get out of bed when my back went out. Next to knees or legs, the back is the worst thing to go out.

  20. Keep on truckin’ girl. 🙂

  21. Lola says:

I am so sorry to hear about your bad week. That must’ve been so stressful with the pain and then your accounts getting hacked. That’s good advice to change your passwords now and then and to use different passwords for different sites. It’s a pain to make sure everything stays secure. That’s good to hear amazon responded so well and you got all your money back.
We’ve been watching more movies this last week too, it’s nice to settle down on the couch with a good movie and food.
I got melting Into You this week. i have the first two books in that series now, should it read it eventually.
    I hope you’ll have a good week!

  22. Dani Chapman says:

Thanks for the freebies! I love snagging one or two of them!
Happy Reading! Dani @ Paulette’s Papers

  23. I’m so sorry! That’s my worst nightmare!! I need to mix up my passwords more. Glad you got it all straightened out. And I hope your feel better and have a good week this week.

  24. Naomi @ Naomi’s Reading Palace says:

Wow… what a hell week it was! So glad Amazon helped you out with your GC’s! What asshats! Hope this week is better for you!

  25. Emma says:

Hope you’re doing better this week, Laura.
