It’s the end of 2018 and I thought I’d share how I fared on some reading challenges.

I wanted to show all of the book covers but the post would have been huge. You can go HERE to view all of them.

 The Cloak And Dagger Challenge

.

I read a lot of books in this genre group so I went big and shot for Special Agent!

I managed to read and review 43 books.

~~~~~
This challenge was for the month of February 2018
The rules are simple.
Read and review at least one book that has a dog on the cover or in the book.
Here’s my completed list.
I did this last couple of years and had fun.
I went with Level: Famished and completed my goal with 27 cozies read and reviewed.
I’ll be doing this one again for 2019 and going with Famished: 26 – 51 books again.
I also completed my Goodreads Challenge. I pledged ? books and completed.
And my personal challenge to read and review from my TBR was completed. I planned on reading and reviewing 25 and surpassed it with 33.
I’m thinking of trying some new challenges along with these I’m already doing again. If you have some fun ones that aren’t too complicated and can include books from other challenges I’m doing, let me know in the comments. I’m always looking for new ones and love meeting new word lovers!
  1. I never struggle with Z because of my zombie collection for A-Z challenges! I’m doing both Alphabet Soup Challenges so I’ll be checking out your progress! I already have one for V put by!
    • fuonlyknew says:
      The Alphabet Soup Challenge is fun. It used to be you could just have the letter somewhere in the title for difficult letters, but I recall last year it needing to be the first letter of the first word. Weird that I didn’t read any books for those this year. LOL
  2. I should really join a few book challenges this year. I especially love the one with the puppies on the cover! The Alphabet Soup Challenge may be one that I try. Thanks for sharing these and good luck with the challenges you sign-up for in 2019! 🙂
    • fuonlyknew says:
      I have several challenges I’m still looking at that I will add once I choose. The Puppy Love is a fun one and I already have some books ready to go for it.
  3. Tammy says:
    You did great with your challenges! I only had one or two last year and forgot about them halfway through the year. Good luck in 2019!
  4. Daniela Ark says:
    oh wow it always impresses me how productive you are! I wish I could read that much! The Cloak And Dagger Challenge and Puppy love were fun to watch so I’m glad you are doing it again! Good Luck!
  5. Beware Of The Reader says:
    So many challenges Laura! I am in awe! I only do the Goodreads challenge LOL
    • fuonlyknew says:
      Most of these are ones I do every year and you can use books from one challenge to another so it’s easier that way. I want to look for one new one this year too.
  6. I am the worst at completed a challenge. I can only the simplest of challenges because my reading is mood oriented. You did amazing!
  7. I like the Alphabet challenge. I might add that to my challenges this year!
  8. You did really well in all of your challenges, I’m so impressed! 🙂 I always want to sign up to challenges but the minute I do I just want to read books that don’t fit. I definitely want to read and review more of my own books in the coming year though, I don’t do that enough.
    • fuonlyknew says:
      I try not to think about challenges when I choose my next read. Luckily, most of my books fit the challenges in one way or another. LOL
  9. Sweeeet. I have one more update and then I will be working on new ones. You did a great job!
  10. Lilyn G says:
    The only reading challenge I participated in was Goodreads. I have issues keeping track of multiple ones. Good on you! It looks like you had a fun reading list.
  11. rolandclarke says:
    Brilliantly done. I am cautious in my reading and only go for the Goodreads, as the books that I tackle are dictated by my writing, reviewers like yourself, and gut-whims – and personal distractions like gaming. Might sign up for the Cloak and Dagger one as that’s the genre I write in.
  12. kozbisa says:
    You found some really unique and interesting challenges. I am going to unofficially do a cover related challenge, because I have never really done one before. I only got 23/26 for AtoZ last year, but I am doing it again for 2019. Good luck with all the challenges!
    • fuonlyknew says:
      I enjoy these challenges and doing them each year. I might add one or two more. Been looking at some that might be fun and work well the challenges I’m already doing.
  13. Carole says:
    You did great with these! I hope to do more challenges once I take care of my past due review pile. Happy 2019!
    • fuonlyknew says:
      I have my own personal past due review challenge. It’s linked to my TBR books and I knocked a lot of them off the list last year. Already working on some for this year.
